And I can put flat pack furniture together.

So there.

I've discovered a new theorem (well I think it's a theorem):

Breakfast cereal + (dinner of soup + fruit salad) + (tea of curry + more fruit) = a preponderance of bowls in the washing up

I might test it again today.

just rinse the bowl under the tap and use it again, it all goes to the same place. Have one "proper" wash up in the evening.

I got a new job today. Had the interview on Friday, and was offered the job this morning. Spent the afternoon sorting out contract details, and all the other stuff that needs sorting when you start a new job.

Feeling insufferably smug tonight king

Congratulations Andy. I suppose this new job has loads of freebies lol! you sponger. Next thing you'll want is a free pasty in your booth.

My mother's staying the night so have used my bad back excuse and left her downstairs with the missus, who ain't happy about it Razz. Mum is a bit mutton and shouts a lot, needs subtitles on the telly and only likes quiz shows and heartbeat. She's lovely with the little boy though so I shouldn't take the Mick.

Free Pastys in the Booth? Pah, We get free seats in the Directors Box, pre-match food and drink, a car parking space in the inner car park, and a pass that allows us to come and go as we please, 7 days a week.

Oh no, sorry, I'm thinking of someone else jocolor pig

Popped into the Brit for a couple of pints after the game. They were having a real ale festival. I hadn't heard of any of the ales on offer, and after sampling a couple, I understand why.

Been carrying out extensive testing on the masking tape (four rolls for £1 op Poundland innit).

I'm pleased to announce that it does exactly what I want it to do: masks the required area effectively, but without sticking very much. Probably not much good for vertical surfaces, then.

Do you use sticky tape on sticks? You could make a raft or a shelter (for a tramp)?

Had some paid work today. Unusually, not only did it not finish early, it actually finished late. But although I don't lose any money if I finish early, I do get paid the extra when things run over.

Anyway. While doing said work, I was able to read. 250 pages, in fact.
