How much profit did we make last season? We must be on course to make a lot more this season and if we are serious about being a CCC club we have come as far as we can taking gambles on injury plagued players for fook all. We've paid fees in the past we will need to do so in the future.

Don't you ever take notice of what is being said or what the club accounts revealed?

The club is still operating at a loss.

Do you ever take notice of what's said before wading into me? I am aware that they said that over the last three years we did make a loss overall but for 20/21 we made a profit,

The headline figure you will note is that, through generous backing from you, our supporters, alongside sponsors, stakeholders, and a cautious and diligent approach from the Board of Directors and senior management, the club is reporting a profit of £376,000 during the year under review.

Now add on an extra say three to five thousand fans per game on top of our previous averages and there is no reason at all not to assume we will make a bigger profit this year. Obviously if we took into account all the Brent years that would be wiped out but who the fook would account for any business on that sort of basis?

Look behind the "headline figure".

As explained in the accounts themselves and at the recent financial fans forum, The club only made a profit because it was given grants by the EFL.

FYI.. We are on course to only lose 1/2 a million in the next set of accounts. So, I wouldn't get too excited about Argyle throwing the money around just yet...

If we want t be a CCC club we won't get many better chances than we will get this season and what's more the half mill loss was predicted before the mazy run of wins and sellout crowds, I'm not advising shit or bust tactics but realistic spending to achieve our dreams. Just think five thousand extra fans per match is more than £100k gross times that by the remaining 30 games of the season and I'm sure we could find £500k if we needed to?

Don’t think he’ll cost 500k, that’s DMac’s Twitter chat and he’s full of bullshit!

I agree with Graiser tbh but buy him we certainly should I just don't think we would replace him via the usual routes and I don't think we will get a better opportunity than this season to go up to the CCC.

So could you calmly explain why a Club that has amongst the highest gates in the Division and is owned and run by someone who most on here say is a leading figure in the US finance and investment market, is on course to lose half a million pounds?
