| [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]One of the all time greats and another inspirational boyhood hero gone. Phenomenal goalscorer and one of the most subtle finishers ever, tended to pass in rather than welt it although he did have a powerful strike when needed. Who knows what would have happened if he didn't get injured in 1966,he didn't score in the early stages of the tournament which would have made him even more dangerous in the latter stages. Bit of Argyle history when he played for Spurs reserves at HP on his return from Italy and there was a huge crowd to watch it, about 13000 iirc. Always enjoyed his sometimes risque wit on Saint and Greavsie on Saturday dinner time, think he's been poorly for some time though after winning his battle with alcohol. RIP Jimmy |

| Another great gone! A prolific striker for England and a shame he wasn't in the England team for the 1966 final. RIP. |
