Anything on mullin ?
Alan Nixon Argyle still trying hard
Plymouth Argyle have identified the prolific striker as a potential summer addition.
Mullin, who is 26 years old, is a man in-demand right now after scoring 34 goals to fire Cambridge to promotion from League Two last term.
He is out of contract at the end of next month and is currently due to become a free agent.[/quote
Wont happen. He will only go to a Club where he knows he will get 30+ starts/season. Which 2 forwards would drop to the bench for that to happen? News to me that any player will "know" how many starts he'll get in any particular season. If [and it's a big if for several reasons imho] the bloke did sign for Argyle, then one way of guaranteeing 30+ starts a season would be to score goals by the shed load in a similar way to this season. Fairly sure that Lowe would find a place in the team for a player with that sort of prolific record, no matter which other strikers are on the books. |

| Well, it's a fair bet that given the fact that two of the current forwards were signed in the last window and the third was top scorer, he wouldn't walk straight into the term.
And any in demand player will be asking for assurances about getting games.
We all know it happens |

We all know it happens Let's get this straight. It's a fair bet a player won't be walking into a team but he is asking for assurances that he will be? So does he believe the obvious answer, "There are no guarantees in football, but we will see what we can do"? Of course he doesn't. He says the obvious thing. "Show me the money, and tell me how long the contract is!" |

Alot of players and indeed managers are on their holidays right now and wont start coming back till mid to late June so i suspect around then the transfer activity will heat up for alot of clubs including us. Errington has seen it happen manytimes so probably books his holidays around it so he doesnt miss a thing when he returns. |

| Lloyd Jones turns down a new contract at Northampton as he wants to stay in L1.
Rather have him than some loanee sent out for experience. |

| Plymouth Argyle have reached an agreement to sign Walsall’s Dan Scarr on a free transfer, according to Football Insider.
Argyle have already moved to bolster their defensive ranks, with James Wilson agreeing to join on a free transfer from Ipswich Town on July 1st.
Ryan Lowe now looks set to complete another defensive bargain, with Walsall defender Dan Scarr set to arrive at Home Park on a free. |

That's why we're going down. its strange a league 2 club's fans don't rate him and questioned why he was offered a new contract there and dont seem bothered and find it funny that we are linked with him a league one club and look set to sign him. Given Ryan's sheer negligence towards the defence too which the defenders we bring in are going to have to have the knowledge to deal with that i cant see how us signing him will make him a better player if that's indeed what some fans are hoping for. Its not filling me with much hope but with that said ill give him a chance if he does end up here and see how he does. I just pray the other 2 defenders Ryan ends up bringing in are of the standard we desperately need that have the experience and ability to play in league one/championship. |

| If he's on a free it might just be as a squad player rather than first choice? |

| Scarr's not got many first team games under his belt for a guy of his age. Hope he's a late developer. |
