no i would say it had merit, the timing was spot on and for whatever reason the deal didn't come good which im sure isnt the first time thats happend or indeed the last time.

The 24-year-old is out of contract at the League One club at the end of this month.

An industry source has told Football Insider Plymouth have looked to take advantage of Burton’s status and have now reached an agreement over signing him

Just played half a season in a Cambridge side that got automatic promotion, so he must a competent, but they've let him go?

Also, why would he want to join Argyle as he would presumably just be a back up for a younger keeper?

Cant honestly say i know anything about him to make a comment on his rumour. I just hope he can provide real competition to cooper as last season he sorely lacked it and desperately needs it if he does sign.

this still baffles me as to why hes going for another left sided wing back when we have 3 who can play there and seriously lacking depth on the right side of that position.

another RWB, CM amd Striker is what i feel we still need to have the depth we need. Bearing in mind that Ryan will also use the 2nd year pros who are doing a 3rd year due to covid aswell.

I agree with Angry, we need to strenthen the right side of the team
