These positive testing numbers over 27,000 again yesterday begs the question who is actually going and getting tested in such great numbers

I can only assume (the mother of all fvck ups) is that positive tests are being generated from people obliged to have them for work purposes rather than people voluntarily thinking I'll go and get a test to check

Though how we went from averaging to 2,000 a day for couple weeks to 14 times that number now sadly needs zero explanation as always. Johnson. End. Of.

Last week at one point we had 133 new Covid cases in a day in Los Angeles county.  A record low since the pandemic began.  Today, due to the Delta variant, we have 549 new cases.  

This Johnson fella has some explaining to do.

They seem to be testing absolutely everyone multiple times, & with the PCR test in particular notoriously giving false positives, coming up with huge case numbers.
If we are going to get back normal now that most people have had the jabs & hospitalisations & deaths are very low surely it’s time to forget this ridiculous obsession with meaningless testing.
Other countries aren’t testing anywhere the levels we are. Italy for example yesterday. 794 new cases & 28 deaths…really ?

On twitter I dont "specifically" follow Labour supporters or Tories or whomever. Its a broad base to get an overall feel for Government. We have a supine media who openly refuse to expose his lies and that needs to change

3 years is a long time (certainly Johnson wont be the leader anyway) but this "progressive alliance" is gaining momentum across the Country to remove the vile filth at the next election

Every infection every death is now on Johnson from his own variant. Its a pity we cant fast forward 5 years post enquiry and post Police investigation because this ends in only one way.

I didn't vote for him, I've hardly ever vote I usually spoil my ballot paper and have done for about thirty years, I can't choose between a shit sandwich or a vomit sandwich Id rather go hungry. Unlike you I am fully aware that Johnson isn't the problem it's the actual political system we have in this country. I add this link from Springfield, Missouri where a hospital doctor said the Delta Covid surge was up by 225%. However, nearly 100% of the infected are young people who "haven't been vacinated." In another report from the state of Colorado they were experiencing the Delta variant as far back as last April. In both cases there was no report of the virus arriving from the UK. Just checked out Northern California and still no mention other than India. Still, I suppose it's possible that someone has laid the blame at the UK's feet but I haven't been able to track it down - perhaps you could do the honours.

Herd immunity was talked about for about five days early in the pandemic then everybody realised that herd immunity doesn't work with Covid as it adapts and can re infect people that have already had it. Herd immunity has never been touted by the Government or anybody else in the UK as a Covid response, you are as full of shit as Johnson is.

Jason Leitch also said Scotland had been hit hard by the infectious Delta variant becoming "seeded" in Glasgow.
Six Scottish health boards are among the top 10 worst-hit regions in Europe, according to World Health Organization (WHO) figures.
NHS Tayside has the highest rate, with 1,146 cases per 100,000 people.
Lothian, Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Fife, Lanarkshire and Ayrshire and Arran health boards are also in the top 10, along with north-east and north-west England.
The only areas in the table outside the UK are Nur-Sultan City in Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation's capital, Moscow.
