Why the UK and the EU are allowing flights in from from India is beyond me.

The Indian variant has been designated as a concern by WHO.

Here in the UK it has been moved up a notch by researchers.

Sleepy Joe will now aim to vaccinate all 12-15 year olds in the USA with the pfizer jab.

I actually agree with you for once although one thing still on my mind is whether the fall in cases and deaths is due to the lockdown or the vaccine? As we have seen before lockdowns do bring cases down the acid test will be what happens when we get back to normal. The Brit awards are going ahead to see how well the testing works I wonder whether we will all have to get used to doing a test before we go out for a pint which would be a ball ache and a massive job to implement, I just hope the jab is the answer.
If they had stuck to the tier system but actually enforced it ie. local lockdowns we could have been back to normal in the SW months ago.

I will still wear a mask in shops and on public transport from now on, so long without a cold or cough cannot be a coincidence.

One major problem with the Indian variant, and at the risk of sounding racist, is Indians. There is a really low take up still amoung Aisian communities and in fact a lot of the restrictions are still in place because along with the low take up of the vaccine it's where the highest infection rates are. Come June I think all the anti vaxxers will just have to stay indoors or take a chance mixing with the rest of the population.

Yet again Bojo has no feet anywhere near the Old Bailey as he is protected by Parlimentary immunity. You really should
educate yourself about Parlimentary procedure if you want to get taken seriously as a non stop political commentator.

The problem with the Asian community is that generations live in the same house. We have a young couple (compared to me at least ) living next door. They have a youngster, his brother and his parents from India ( they haven’t been able to go back because of the situation over there) living there. It’s no wonder their community has been hit hard.

Back on topic. Some of these infections are clearly troubling the Daily Mail amongst other media in the Bolton areas etc and am sure Johnson is shitting purple bricks that this wont super spread with this Indian variant

you've been mugged off mate,

All this stems from Bojo's perogation of Parliament which all the Frannies in the country grasped like drowning men at straws thinking that Bojo would "get dragged away in chains," or has "one foot in the Old Bailey", despite nothing of the sort happening there are many remainers crying over and over again that Bojo is a criminal and his incarceration is imminent in the belief that if they stick to the mantra they will eventually be believed.
As for the Covid enquiry it will take two years and probably another two years to publish, remember Tony Blairs lies about weapons of mass destruction that dragged us into an illegal war? By the time the inquiry was over Blair had already received a Knighthood and wasn't worried about the outcome due to his immunity. No PM has ever been charged with criminal behaviour for any decision made during their time in office and no PM has even been remotely bothered by claims made by remainers in recent years like the Good Law Project, they only exist for their own promotion and despite all their claims have achieved fook all, I wonder how long it will take you and yours for the penny to drop? How long ago was it that you deftly swerved having a bet with me that Bojo wouldn't last the month out? None of your claims have come true nor will they.

Good grief. A load of self confessed remainers who couldn't hold the government to account over Brexit have now latched on to the PPE fiasco but to pretend they are doing it on behalf of NHS staff is just feckin shameless. And once again no one will be held to account.

Why don't these people just accept that rich tory folk have the right to steal as much as they like?
