I reckon there is something in the story that the kicking the AZ vaccine is getting is quite probably down to lobbying from other big Pharma companies desperately trying to discredit the AZ as it’s is so successful & is being sold at cost price, making it the no-brainer goto vaccine

I've seen no evidence that you get an increased chance of blood clots by having the AZ vaccine and if you apply the same scrutiny to any other vaccine you would see the same results. It's another angle from the anti vax mob being utilised by politicians that are totally inept at doing their jobs. That's the real story by the way Harve.

All of this is clearly to discredit OX/AZ. Rival pharma, for, as said above, because of the intent by OX/AZ to supply this vaccine for no or very little profit - which for this day and age is totally absurd.

And clearly, for all to see, there's a combined effort by disgruntled and incompetent EU leaders to discredit the vaccine and the UK for A: Brexit and B: our immensely successful vaccine program, and C: to deflect attention away from their disastrous vaccine roll out program.

Blood clots: a study in the US into deaths thru blood clots found that around 90k people there die from them annually. Statistically, 31 in around 3 million is insignificant. It's 0.000001%! According to other learned sources (the BMJ) there are an equal number dying from the Pfizer one - the the EU don't scare-monger about THAT!

That's it. That's the crux of the whole shitty situation.

So, don't listen to MSM, Throbbers running the EU and social media experts. Get yer fooking jab so we can all get to the pub, watch footy with mates (and chauffeurs) and FFS, live music, gimme live music.

Initially he cynically wanted to buy time for a potentially lucrative French vaccine in development to come to market - but when French scientists failed and abandoned the project he still couldn't bring himself to back Britain.

Meanwhile his repeated false claims over the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine have led to him stockpile millions of unused jabs and his only achievement is convincing more than 60 percent of the French public the AstraZeneca/Oxford jab is unsafe.

They are dying because of ignorance and stupidity and nationalism - and of course Macron's political ego.

The European Medicines Agency has certified the AstraZeneca jab as safe - but this is not about facts, it's about smears and point-scoring.

A week ago the EU (and Macron) were attacking Russia (still subject to EU sanctions for annexing Crimea, with some Kremlin officials also under international restrictions for the poisoning and jailing of opposition activist Alexei Navalny remember).

Yet yesterday Macron took his begging bowl to the Kremlin imploring Putin to consider sending the EU some of Russia's completely unapproved Sputnik vaccine.

It's called Sputnik for a reason - to recall that world-shaking former Soviet scientific success - and Putin has been using it around the world as a similarly spectacular example of Moscow's soft power.

Macron and Merkel have just handed this tyrant a PR coup beyond his wildest dreams.

It will be interesting to see how much our population goes up this weekend. Story on Spotlight saying how loads of Airbnb places are still advertising down here yet only people with certain exceptions allowed to travel. We have had several inquiries in the last six weeks and have just told people we were booked on a long let because I know they would have lied about being essential workers or similar.
We are booked solid for April from the 12th but people are still not committing much to longer term planning.

Even if there were to be a proven link, the maths are incomparable in relation to risk of actual death from Covid.

The tragedy in all this is that certain people are falling for it and cancelling, or not turning up for their allotted jab because of this project fear- which in turn, if not used could go to waste.

As with any new vaccine there will be a small few who have adverse reactions , while the majority do not.

I will still take my 2nd jab in June unless told otherwise.

I can't find anywhere what the age of the people are , what sex they are and how long after receiving the OAZ did the clots develop ?
