Careful, you'll have a baying mob of pitchfork waving loons after you, if you say things like that!

Best avoid phrases like "Multi millionaire US based financial markets speculator sacks loyal staff after celebrating promotion"

You can point the same finger at many companies, conglomerates and football clubs, it’s not just PAFC

Sort of highlights the problems we face today don't it? I'd say you are ten times more likely to lose your job if you work for a company that is worth millions or billions, has massive cash reserves and wealthy owners.
Sunak should be levying heavy tax penalties on big companies ESP footsy 100's for shedding staff.

If Brent was still here this announcement would have been made back in March. Furlough wages wouldn’t have been topped up, and by now we’d have been the new Wigan, or worse, Bury.
but Jimmys gone now we multi millionaire super Si but hey ho his been well quoted as saying basically his gunna be running it a long the same lines just hope he didn’t pick up any dirty habits from jimmy after the two years he spent on Jimmys keeping very quite & backing jimmy for them two years to the point of even putting Brent’s daughter on the board
In fact if jimmy didn’t feck up (or deliberately F#%K his normal mo) hallett would proberly still be a silent partner hence silent
Hopefully he is good for the club which all fans want but we’re wait see ?

I'd rather they waited to see whether the season starts on 26th August if it does and fans are allowed in then the cuts may not be needed or at least reduced. Sadly I think many businesses will use this to get more work out of less people it has nothing to do with Covid.

Aye. In my works there were quite a few employees furloughed. Miraculously, the company is now saying we've seemed to have managed without them and don't need them back! Me thinks that was the plan all along and CV-19 was a perfect and very convenient excuse! A bit like how Brexit was used by a lot of financially laden companies to call it a day. Not that I'm a sceptical bastard by the way Laughing

Try to steer clear of racial profiling, please

Grow up for FFS, seems like your running out of your usual stuff to moan about.

Grow up?

Take it you're not BAME and have never been victimised because of your ethnicity?

I disagree with ears on just about everything, but if you are suggesting that he was posting racist comments then I’m afraid in your efforts to stir any pot to gain effect, then it’s you who are doing the BAME objective no favours at all

Oh FFS. You seem desperate to be offended! Quit already with your faux, trendy outrage. Quite ridiculous to even suggest there was even a soupçon of a racist slant in earwigs comments. Your reaction is indicative of modernist leftist hateful vitriolic shite doing the rounds withing certain facets of the populas.

Apologies this was the reference to Sheffield Wednesday. I'm off to insert a garden gnome into Bryan of Luton
Seems however we could well be playing them next season with a points deduction inbound

This could be a message to players and agents they got to be realistic in the wages they got to ask for.

LOl. Would you care that Mary in marketing (who you don't even know) isn't going to get a pay rise when you went for a job?
