| Lee Johnson sacked by Bristol City after Cardiff home defeat
Bristol City manager Lee Johnson has been sacked after a run of poor form that culminated with Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Cardiff City.
Assistant Head Coach Dean Holden will take over immediately in a caretaker capacity as the Robins look to appoint a successor.
Will Bakinson come back now |

| Chris Hughton 10/11 fav.
Our Ryan is 8/1 third fav if anyone would like to wager because he’s definitely ’gone’.

| Even money favourite now. The two obvious big differences here mind, are Lowe would undoubtedly like to manage in the Championship....and paying compo won’t be an issue for Bristol City. |

| This just strengthens the conspiracy theory that argyle fans will go out of their way to try and get rid of their manager with every vacancy that comes up. Talking him up as if hes the second coming of sir alex ferguson improving his odds at bookies everytime.

| Sounds a bit different to Bolton scenario though. Bristol City not short of cash, established Championship club, quality ground, majority shareholder is Stephen Lansdown Billionaire part owner of HL stockbrokers
Totally different league when it comes to Cash. No matter what Ryan said at Fans Forum this is much bigger if he's the one they want (I actually dont think he will be though) |

| If he manages to top league 1 by Christmas I reckon he will garner interest from CCC clubs. |

Can’t see it. I think the days of Steve Lansdown writing blank cheques are well and truly done. Besides although Lowe talks a good game he hasn’t really done a hell of a lot to warrant him being talked about at champ level. Bristol City are an established play off challenging champ side so They’re shopping somewhere else than Appointing Managers of decent 4th clubs. I reckon Pulis would be a better shout He’s also on quite a good gig here, we’re not known for being trigger happy. We’re financially sound, expectations are low and he’s got a good around him. Give it another decent year and I reckon it would happen |

| Bristol City will want someone with a better CV than Lowe. There will be ambitious L1 clubs sacking their managers over the next 12 months who will want Lowe in their shortlists. |

| When or indeed If a club comes in for Ryan they will just go for him betting odds and media talk wont make a jot of difference on that front no matter how much giving in argyle fans say or do.

Steven Gerrard, Chris Hughton, Aitor Karanka and Michael Flynn are in the running for the Bristol City job Seen John Terry's name mentioned too. Chris Hughton would be a good choice for them. |

Indeed. They will want to go for someone with some PL experience rather than Lowe. Lowe is, and will remain, a good manager and he fits Argyle well. He can build up his cv with the club. |
