Will be interesting to see the vote Wednesday in light of whats appears substantial Tory revolt. You have to assume though that Starmer and Co will support it considering he called for it three weeks ago....

I personally think they have timed to lockdown just right. It's always been a balancing act between controlling the virus and controls and lockdowns bankrupting the economy and losing millions of jobs. I like many people in the SW run tourism businesses and we have all lost three months trade in the first lockdown, September and October helped no end to make up some of the revenue we lost in April, May and June. November is much quieter so we will lose less money than had we locked down a month earlier.
I start my Christmas business in mid Novemeber so I'm due to take another hit there but if we can trade again in first week of December we may be able to make up some lost ground as long as people follow the rules. If they don't myself and many people like me will lose thousands again.
