Chinese Virus May Have Infected Hundreds

We just got a call from the guy renting our letting unit and he's going for a test as he's got symptoms. Very luckily he was due to move out today but the girl who was coming from Bath has developed symptoms so she has cancelled her four day trip so matey is staying here until he knows what's going on. The unit is totally isolated which is lucky but it is a feckin pain in so many ways. We are due to stop bookings on the last weekend in October and we just have a couple of bookings left which are all locals but to be honest I think it's a good time to stop now. Feckin Covid.

Going to be interesting oop north as the Government are just about to implement tier three restrictions whether Burnam likes it or not. The whole country will be watching to see whether they follow the rules or whether we will see mass disobedience.
I hate all these mayors with loads of devolved power you only have to look at the states, which is the model they follow, and see how many big corruption cases stem from Mayors abusing their power, we need less government in this county not more of it.

The fella staying at our place had his test on Sunday and is still awaiting results. He says after his fever on Saturday he feels fine but if he is positive obviously we all need to know.

The guy staying at ours has received his negative test last night which is a big relief. Can't wait until the end of the month and see our last couple of bookings out. At least the remaining ones are from Falmouth and Bideford so no hotspots.

It amused me that no one thought it odd with the Burnham press conference the other night, first off all the crew are all assembled to talk to the press, as Andy walks to the Mike someone shows him a text, then they make a big thing about just being informed by text they arent getting all the dosh theyve asked for how cruel. Liverpool treating more covid intakes than when it first hit earlier in the year

Guardian today - An NHS trust is investigating after two junior doctors contracted coronavirus following a function with 20 other colleagues where social distancing rules were allegedly ignored.

The cases, involving junior doctors from Royal Surrey NHS foundation trust who congregated at a social gathering unconnected to the trust, were declared an outbreak by Public Health England.

Police were also investigating the allegations, which reportedly relate to an event in Guildford on 2 October.
