I didn't see this. I loved them as a kid but wasn't allowed to watch them. Mum used to let me and my brother watch when my Dad was on late nights.

RIP TBT!

Fook me Mouldy but he was strict, my Mum wouldn't let us watch Alf Garnet because he was a racist but I can't see anything about the Goodies that was offensive. Did he just not like them?
Anyway as a young bhey I loved the Goodies genuinely funny. Tim Brooke Taylor played the nerdy clever but stupid fall guy to a tee. What's really cracking me up is remembering Bill Oddie and Graeme Gardner as the cool guys. That is a lol. RIP.

He wasn't that strict, he just didn't find them funny. Same thing with Monty Python and Dad's Army.

If he didn't find it funny he didn't watch it.
