I'll always remember Graham Taylor because of the way he celebrated after winning the semi at Villa Park. His reaction was like they had just beaten Man U or Chelsea not little old Argyle. RIP

An all round decent bloke by all accounts, who was unfairly savaged by the media.

Blimey, that's a bit of a shock. Didn't realise he was 72,he was one of the youngest managers in history when he took over at Lincoln. Very good record there, Watford and Villa, his biggest mistake as England manager was to allow that fly on the wall documentary which destroyed his credibility. Who knows how his career would have shaped up if the ref had sent Koeman off in that match, which he certainly should have. The press never accepted him as England manager, especially Venables mates like Jeff Powell, and the lampooning he got was just awful. Always talked sense when commentating on the radio, came across as a decent bloke when the spotlight was off. RIP Graham.

There aren't that many football people around that are worth listening to, but he was certainly one that was. RIP
