Listening to the Nolan show on 5live last night and he had a 41 year old chap on the show discussing his awful time in hospital with covid-19. He had no underlying health issues.

The guy said he was really ill and could hardly breath, it was like drowning. He went on to say he saw one person dying alone with no one holding their hand to say goodbye. That interview brought home the message very clearly.

It can happen although it is rare like with the common flu/cold depends on the subjects immune system and i guess it will be weakened by cornona meaning it is prone to re infection.. which is why quarantine is not a 3 week thing that im getting the impression from celebs on tv who are making light of the situation (nb anyone else sick of philip schofield?) unless it's a fact the virus isn't in your area and no one else has it. that will be tough.

They've already tested a vaccine on people in the states the trouble is they need to wait a few months to make sure it has worked and hasn't made it worse. They then have to manufacture enough to treat several billion people. I reckon it's a red herring and all this will be over before a vaccine is a real possibility.

of course it will be next years flu jab for certain as they always give you last years strand as the vaccine never the new one.
