Chinese Virus May Have Infected Hundreds

If you read my post properly Rickler, I didn’t say it was man made.
I said it may have escaped from the Wuhan virology lab, perhaps by accident.
These viruses are used in research you know.

if it were man made im sure trump would have had that established by now and be pressing buttons in retaliation.

So what is your theory? Do you believe it originated in animals?

One way or another humans are ultimately responsible for this mess, whether man made and deliberately released, man made and accidentally released or as seems more plausible, through the barbarity of eating anything, dead or alive, raw or cooked.

Good article in the sun yesterday saying about the hysteria surrounding Coronavirus. Pointed out that 50 000 people died of flu in this country during winter of 2017/ 18 and nobody batted an eyelid. There was certainly no calling for places like the nightingale hospital to be set up for potential casualties.

Not really hysteria, without lockdown your looking at 500000 dead if you are lucky.
Not enough ventilators due to government feck up.

Scientists still saying 12 months to 18 months for a vaccine but, they are trying so hard to get there.

I read an article the other day where a person had caught covid-19, recovered then caught it again some weeks later. That is a worry.

They've already tested a vaccine on people in the states the trouble is they need to wait a few months to make sure it has worked and hasn't made it worse. They then have to manufacture enough to treat several billion people. I reckon it's a red herring and all this will be over before a vaccine is a real possibility.

Just read a report on that, they hope to get it out for January after trials in September. Although, they could get it out earlier ?.

I paid for a flu jab last autumn and the year before, I wish I had gone for the pneumonia one too, £90 one time jab.

It is and they have been on lockdown a tad longer than us. The USA is also bearing the brunt of this insidious virus.

I see Vlad the cad is being monitored after coming into contact with a doctor at a Russian medical facility who has now tested positive.

If the virus takes a firm hold in India, Pakistan and the whole of Africa, that will be bad for those countries.

I read report that was suggesting covid-19 will not entirely vanish in the remainder of spring and the whole of the summer. Scientists say it might spread slower then increase in the cooler months.

They went on to say that as it is a new virus, it could behave much differently than other corona viruses.

they will have too cause no way will the world stop for a year till this vaccine is ready for that date.

Christ whilst I actaully find Piers Morgan amusing he, Susannah Reid and that Hilary Jones the Doctor on GMB are absolutely mullering the Tories handling of this situation this morning.
Hancock and Gove getting utterly slaughtered over their utter bullshit over testing and PPE Equipment and their lies week after week.

The recriminations will come make no mistake in a years time. Johnson cant hide in his fridge indefinately (well he probably will)

There's an interesting link between smoking and void deaths. In China lots more men than women died of it then someone realised it was because lots more men in China smoke than women. I've never been to Italy but the Spanish and Portuguese smoke like fack. Another interesting stat is that Sri Lanka has 110 cases and two deaths. You hardly see anybody smoking in Sri Lanka.
