| Man in the middle BRETT HUXTABLE (Our friend from N Devon)
Assisted by Justin Amey and Robert Dabbs
Fourth Official : Philip Staynings Huxtable has shown 59 yellow cards and sent-off one player in 17 games this season. Brett Huxtable at Home Park November 22, 2016: Argyle 0 Barnet 2 L2 August 15, 2017: Argyle 2 Chelsea Under-21s 2 EFLT February 13, 2018: Argyle 4 AFC Wimbledon 2 L1 October 9, 2018: Argyle 0 Swindon Town 3 EFLT January 1, 2019: Argyle 3 Oxford United 0 L1 March 12, 2019: Argyle 2 Shrewsbury Town 1 L1 Argyle’s game against Morecambe will be only the second time they have played at Home Park since the end of October. The only home match since then was the 2-1 defeat of Bradford City in League Two on November 2 Morecambe NewsIt has been a turbulent campaign for Morecambe, the Shrimps said farewell to the longest-serving manager in the Football League,Jim Bentley was in his ninth year at the Morecambe helm now we welcome his replacement which is a familiar face to Home Park in Derek Adams. Derek Adams says his side "must build on their performance against Carlisle" last week when they travel to Plymouth this weekend. Adams will face his former club on Saturday when the Shrimps meet Plymouth Argyle at Home Park and the Morecambe boss is upbeat after a positive week with his squad. "We're obviously looking forward to the next game which happens to be against Plymouth Argyle," he said. "We're coming off the back of a very good performance against Carlisle United, where we created a number of good goal scoring opportunities. "We've had a flu bug that's gone through the first team squad, which gives an opportunity to some of the players that have been on the subs bench or just outside the matchday squad. "I'm delighted to have Andre De Silva Mendes training with the first team and also seeing the good progress of Carlos Mendes Gomes in first team training and reserve matches, which bodes well for the youngsters in our youth system. Argyle NewsRyan Lowe has insisted there is ‘not a chance in this world’ that Plymouth Argyle will under-estimate Morecambe when they play them at Home Park on Saturday. Morecambe are bottom of League Two, below Stevenage on goal difference, with 15 points from 20 games CALLUM McFadzean is a major doubt for the weekend as he continues to recover from the injury sustained in the FA Cup draw at Bristol Rovers a fortnight ago. He has not trained this week and we’re just waiting for the scan news. We be missing JOE Edwards as he serves a one-match suspension. The versatile midfielder picked up his fifth booking of the season in the 1-0 defeat at Cambridge last weekend The Mayflower Stand takes another step forward today by increasing the amount of fans allow into there, it is the second the safety exercise. Argyle Fans Trust is holding its annual food back collection.
There will be collection points at GTs Reception Area, Devonport End and Outside Ticket Office

| Very tough one. Based on the last 'performance' it should be Del Boy going back up north with the points.

| Argo probably have a slightly better squad than Morecambe, but they have a better manager so away win it is. |

| 2.45 in the away changing room Adams will be saying "You will get a few goals today lads-their defence is crap. I should know, I signed most of them!" |

| 5-0 for me, got to win today and as Morecambe are rooted to the bottom, Argyle should take this lot apart. |

| 73% possession and 12 nil on corners and still only 2 - 0, might indicate we need a decent striker! |

| Three points was the main thing against the worst team in the football league, sounds like it was a struggle until they went down to ten, so only one Whoop from me. |

| Plymouth got back to winning ways with a comfortable League Two victory over 10-man Morecambe. Attacking midfielder George Cooper fired the home side ahead from a 20-yard free-kick following Ritchie Sutton's foul on Dom Telford as the striker closed in on goal. Sutton saw red for the foul and his side, managed by former Argyle boss Derek Adams, were punished by Cooper's superbly executed strike, which gave diving Shrimps keeper Mark Halstead little chance as it curled away from him. Argyle doubled their lead in first-half stoppage time when Antoni Sarcevic sent Halstead the wrong way from the spot following skipper Alex Kenyon's foul on striker Joel Grant. Player of the match Cooper teed up substitute Conor Grant to smash home from close range in stoppage time. Argyle should have been out of sight by half-time as playmaker Danny Mayor's rising drive came back off the angle and before scoring Cooper and Sarcevic both went close. In a second half dominated by Plymouth, Cooper sent another 20-yard free-kick only inches wide while substitute Zak Rudden's shot hit the post.

| We played well very attack minded and its nice too see. Morecambe's keeper did well to keep them in the game even at 3-0 and player sent off (rightly aswell) with some good saves.
Del bhey hasnt changed his ways at all still setting his teams up to win 1-0 and hadnt got a clue when that falls apart bringing on subs too late to change the fortunes and always like for like. The crowd canting we're not boring anymore was funny. Sarcevic played well as did josh grant. no one had a bad game in truth.
great win for us and a clean sheet too which is a bonus point in my eyes so onwards and upwards towards maccelsfield (subject to change) bristol rover for the cup. |

Derek Adams: The change in the game was the sending off, we were really in the game at that stage and we didn’t have any trouble. They had a lot of corner kicks and shots, but a lot of those were off target and we limited them to very few opportunities on goal.. They had to score with a well-taken free-kick, and then we gave a penalty away just before half-time and they scored with the last kick of the game when we had played the whole of the second half with 10 men. What I will say is that I am very proud of my players, the way they stuck at it. It is not easy to come to Home Park against a team who think they should be higher up the league. “ The whole team after the setback of the sending off were magnificent. You could hear the home fans getting on the backs of the team and they weren’t happy with the performance of their side. “We were disciplined and their passing was slow and that is what we wanted. We slowed them down and the fans at that stage were ready to turn on them Adams refusing to shake hands with Wotton at FullTime |
