I sense players will raise their game today. Hopefully it'll be like a different team. Sheridan at least is a manager! And one with a proven track record in this division.

I'm worried that the weather is on the turn and these dirty northern bastards are more used to a flood or a snowstorm and battling through the northern wastelands to get their pickled eggs and flat beer unlike their southern softy counterparts.
We need the win much more though and with the new man in charge pumping up the team I can't see anything other than an Argyle victory.
It will be interesting to see how many turn up? What with the 3 for 2 offer and the new manager it should make a big difference. If Fletcher was still in charge I reckon it would've been under 5500 so am expecting 7000+ today.

In the words of Churchill after El Alamein...."This is not the end. This is not even the beginning of the end. But it is perhaps the end of the beginning".
See you at the fanfest Ginge!

7k is still a lot Jock you dinlow. There'll be about 2 people from Morecambe so I'd be impressed if it's 6500+.

Geddon everyone. Won't be in chat as the price to pay for me getting access to Argyle World via my phone is to give up my laptop for the children to watch a film. Planning my own fan fest though with Henry Weston and his pals the Thatchers
Hoping for more than a dead cat bouncing today. Heartened and looking forward to the game. Looking forward actually to a bit of unity on the boards and everyone at least for 90 minutes on the same side.
We can resume normal hostilities after the game.

Team:
Reg Berry/Nelson/Branston/Bhas PCH/Hourihane/Blanch/Lowry Feeney/ Rooney? (Presumably this is Ronan Murray)

Tranmere fans also said we should play Blanchard in midfield.
Bhasera at left back is probs a good one too, mobility etc.

Blanchard and hourihane in the middle, lowry on left. Not a big crowd about 20 from morecambe. Murray looks short.

Feeney down injured.
Blanchard has won a couple of aerial balls in midfield but his passing is still poor. Feeney limping off very slowly and is going to be subbed for Harvey.

Ellison looks dangerous for them. Branston has won a few balls but does look slow.
Pissing down so the pitch is running quite fast.
Nelson has started well.

Blanchard is winning a lot of battles in midfield but we'3e losing possession in attacking areas. One of theirs booked for a late challenge on lowry. Branston was close to being booked but was spoken to.

They almosr score from a well worked corner but a good block at the far post by an argyle defender. From the breakaway their LB pulled down PCH for a booking. Swirling wind and rain affecting high balls. Branston seems to be stopping everything ROARRRR.

They've made a tactical sub.
Almost 3 0 after PCH narrowly missed a diving header after good work by murray.
