The worm has turned indeed lol ! He was so, 'Trust in Stapes' and 'Enjoy the ride', it wasn't true. The penny does appear to have dropped. Maybe he should join us on here lol ! |

| We've had our differences have Smiffy and I but I can't think of anyone better to voice an opinion that will provide alternative views. His style is different and more like poetry then a comment, should be interesting!
I hope people remember, there's no law against using more then one forum...well not as far as we are concerned at least.
Welcome Smiffy!

| Charlie Wood - (no he wouldn't)
This whole PASOTI stance of not linking to us because of our unstoppable fetish for big gay bear porn or whatever it was must become defunct now we've changed sites, no? Laughably Newell's corruption of the old site under the old ownership has surely meant they no longer can have any problems with linking to this one - a fresh url, fresh mod team, etc? So I assume Smiffy's sig will be allowed to stay.
(First one to post a picture of a big bald man noshing off a yorkshire terrier wins). |

You're such nice boys. We don't suffer bears gladly Charlie................ but we don't try to silence them. 'Listen to the dull and the ignorant. They too have their story to tell'.................. I still have a glance at Pasoti when I'm feeling strong |

Trouble is, none of us know what games are being played. The club, supporters, players and fans seem to be last on the list. |

can I get any of you c***s a drink?. I'm proud of you. An island of sanity in a sea of Avivaness. Took long enough though. Mine's a pint of decent bitter, haven't had one for 6 months. Beers ! Cheers ! |

Have we?, something that no-one ever understands about me is that I can't hold a grudge for long. I really do like an arguement, to a fault, but I never remember who with or what it was about. I try to be like the people I like, people who put up a passioned arguement, give as good as they take, then sit down and have a beer, I can't abide grudge holders, life is waaay to short. Anyways, you didn't say what you were drinking, don't go all Damon Lenzner-gestetnerpaper on me, have a mans drink, pina colada?. Waaasup Tring - good choice, Tribute OK for you?. |

Waaasup Tring - good choice, Tribute OK for you?. Fair enough,i don't hold grudges either, as you say life's too short and i get a sharp reminder of this fact every day when i go to visit my mother in a specialised unit for dementia patients, which truly puts football and websites into perspective.Actually,i had rather a lot of fizzy drinks last night,so i'll take a bit more recovery time if you don't mind, but under normal circumstances,a pint of Stella or Carlsberg will do very nicely, thank you. |

| The tribute is going down well. My round. I'm not one for bearing grudges either, unless someone really crosses me. Pissed now. Been down the pub earlier.................... later. Hopefully I'll awaken to another sunny day and it will all have been no more than a bad dream.

Careful there Smiffo, you reminded me of listening to IJN paying one of his insufferable glowing tributes to Tony Campbell, Keith Todd or Peter Ridsdale ... well, until I got to the grudge bit. Welcome to a fine site where little energy is wasted on dumb mutterings of any hue and where us fans have a culture of treating eachother with respect .... what a relief ... we're the good guys. |

| Talking of Tony Campbell, it was very strange to see his salary that was owed, listed totally seperately in the creditors list and away from all other staff. If anyone has the time or inclination to delve into all this after the dust settles, that seperate treatment would be a good place to start... very strange indeed.
If I were a betting man, I would say he was tipped the wink before the balloon went up and the plan put into effect, given a convenient boot and special arrangemments made. If the intention is to take 20 years to pay the staff their money, I would bet Campbell ends up with a far more favourable arrangement than that.

| Several cuba libres later and the real world is genuinely a bit fuzzy. History is written by the victors Penz, so when the 'dust settles' history will begin with the words "in the beginning there was Peter". Now what' ya drinking, i've got time for a quick round before Mrs. Smiffy calls me to perform |
