| Smiffy ............. never thought I'd see the day !
Those brain dead halfwits never cease to amaze me with their parochiality.

| He's about the only one that talks any sense on there but we all know he would be far better off talking to a brick. |

| He talks sense once in a blue moon.
Come the revolution, he should be put up against the wall and shot - for his own, and everybody elses good!

I hadn't read Animal Farm since I was in school, so last I night I read it again. I am sure Orwell didn't have Pasoti in mind when he wrote it........but you cant help but wonder........ |

| Smiffy tends to drift in and out with the tide changing his view when the sea becomes a little choppy and the gang turns on him, then he resigns and appears again in a few weeks after he's finished his sulk. He's talking sense at the moment but it's hard to take the guy seriously. Frank, when Orwell wrote that book he couldn't have described humanity any better and I really can't think of a better description for our friends across on the other side of the Internet. Who was it that gave the name "The Farm" to our friends anyway? Spot on! |

I am sure Orwell didn't have Pasoti in mind when he wrote it........but you cant help but wonder........ I agree... I hadn't read it since early teens and because of all that has been going on, I re-read it a few months ago. It's a real quick read. Hardly be described as a book really. And you are so right... It just goes to show what a genius Orwell was. Newell is Napoleon ( and you won't believe this frank, but even after several months of 'farm' and 'Orwell' jokes, Naps hadn't cottoned on to the fact that he was called Napoleon after the pig in Animal Farm - I am guessing he thought it was after the French dictator - which is where his mind would naturally drift) No doubt who Ponty is though! |

No doubt who Ponty is! I assumed that Naps would have thought you meant the "Great French Military Leader" (sic) rather then a pig. |

The guy is a comedy genius. Unbelievable hypocrisy from Newell, followed swiftly by one of the Aviva boys Rickardo............ as you say, comedy genius ! |

| And I see the self proclaimed " I'm living example of what a fan should be" has honoured me with not one, but two different avatars today.
Not that Napoleon Newell is 'obsessed' or anything... |

Not that Napoleon Newell is 'obsessed' or anything... Its a bit sad really. Naps is trying to be on his best behaviour now that he is the Self Appointed Leader Of Pasoti and has a public profile. He has been warned about coming on here (but still does), and has been told to stop the snide comments over there. But he cant help himself but all he can do is change his avatar. He continues to be vilified on here and on exeweb but has no way of replying. |

Self Appointed Leader Of Pasoti can be made into the acronym SALOP.Shrewsbury is the county town of Salop.Argyle are playing their first match of the season in that town.Is this significant? I think we should be told. |

| There's a terrifying thoiught!
So now that Newell has been told to behave can it be considered that he fancies himself in a "position"? |

| I've also thought that Tony was a bit soft when it comes to two differing members having different views. It is a football forum, there are going to be disagreements and the odd bit of name calling - not a problem so long as it isn't out of hand. Smiffy calling the chap a 'chuckle brother' isn't exactly bullying...it is actually quite funny. And you can see where he is coming from; a small town, short sighted blustering buffoon muddling through life oblivious to anything of serious note. I thought Chuckle brother was being kind! |

| It is amusing that Newell allows others to do/say what they want and to cast insult freely but Smiffy gets the shotgun pulled on him. Is Smiffy on Newell's hit list then? |
