Hosted in our brand-new Mayflower Grandstand Conferencing and Events Business Centre, the conference is a full-day opportunity to network with, and learn from, some of the most successful minds in the region – covering a vast range of industries.

Guest speakers include Argyle manager Ryan Lowe, who will likely need to no introduction to many of the local community; club chief executive Andrew Parkinson, whose management experience also extends to European giants Liverpool FC and The Shard; and Nigel Risner, a motivational business speaker of over 20 years, having previously worked in the world of commercial finance.

I think this tells us why the "Conferencing and Events Business Centre" may not be a success. If the best they can get for the Launch of this venture is a couple of staffers and a guy who sounds like he isn't a household name in his own house I doubt that the movers and shakers of Westcountry business will be flocking to the event. Now or in the future.

Lots of westcountry businesses that have leaders I'd pay to hearing speak- The Range, Trago, Gregory Distribution, Mole Valley Farmers, Ginsters, etc. etc.

Surprised that Mr Brent isn't there as an inspirational leader - he's a real expert on pulling the wool over local councils (and the EU), pretending to be a successful businessman and property developer to get maximum funding and assistance from said bodies while in reality the only thing he's ever developed is his own pension pot.

He's taken to unfriending and blocking on FB currently lol. Drunken old soak thought the day would never come.
