| FFS, half of those in the lists were lucky to even get a game. Aljofre? Equally average at CB and FB. Mauge-a hoodlum. BWP, selfish, lazy overvalued. Marino Keith really could not get a game. Billy, Fox Beswetheric, all average 4th division jouneymen. Timar-heart of a lion, tuning circle of a supertanker.
what an insult this list is to the dozens of players who were good enough at Home Park to be signed by top clubs. |

| Sorry Grovehill can't agree with you over BWP....a striker is valued by goals scored....Bradley has scored 185 goals....and that is with only one good leg.
Re-writing the record books in the States 108 goals in 180 games. For Argyle it was 17 goals in 32 games.
Both those figures are beyond the magic 0.5 goals per match.
Lazy he seemed...but many a defender came unstuck thinking that.....overvalued ? put a price on a striker who scores more than 0.5 per game...worth his weight in gold.
The season that we had to off-load him because of administration he scored 13 goals before the new year...went to Charlton and scored another 13 goals before the end of the season.....priceless. |

| Yeah what BWP has done across the pond is remarkable. The MLS may only largely be Championship standard football, but to regularly top the scoring charts there still means you’ve got considerable quality. |

| He joins all the other "lazy" strikers who could bang them in game after game, BWP, SEB and Roobs all got tarred with the same brush but they all knew where the goal was and were there at the right time, BWP was like a ghost in the box. I remember Linekar getting the "goal hanger" tag for England but he as well knew where the goal was and banged them in. |

But if you'd voted for Marino you would have also seen, Trigger, SEB, Reid, BWP, Hayles, Sinclair. Some people are just mental. |

I'd of voted for a lot more players ahead of Keith aswell, Only remember him for the winning goal at swindon 2-0 and you fecked it up fame and being injured, But we know all the dim janners would have been jizzing over this. |

Those who have been fortunate to have seen those four above at first hand with know Ladapo and Carey wouldnt even be in contention to lace Mariner and Raffertys boots. |

That the thing, I never seen Mariner and Raffety I only have 20 years worth of players to choose from. So can only go on what I've seen. Not seen the whole list of any player , but of what I've seen there are some shocking names with high ratings. |

I remember him missing a 1 v 1 V Dagenham in the FA cup which was pretty rank. But he was what he was, a Scottish division 1 player that could hit the ball pretty well but no way as good as made out. The fact that Carl Fletcher, relegated with us twice makes the list of midfielders says it all regarding the level of intelligence on show here. |

| we really do have some brain dead tossers who support this club dont we?
Greatest Manager Results So Far 11. Bobby Saxton 12. Ellis Stuttard 13. Peter Shilton 14. Kevin Hodges 15. Malcolm Allison 16. Tony Pulis 17. Ken Brown 18. Jack Tresadern 19. Carl Fletcher 20. Jack Rowley 21. Billy Bingham 22. David Kemp 23. John Sheridan 24. Bobby Moncur 25. William Fullarton
How is Fletcher a) even on this list and b) that high on it when he was by far one of the worst managers in our history. He was utterly out of his depth refused to acknowledge he needed experience in his ranks and we would have been relegated had it not been for sheridan who laid alot of groundwork to make us into a half proffessional outfit. how is hodges that high aswell lol bloody hell.
i dread to see who made the top ten now bound to have peter reid a guy whos managerial methods had players laughing at him cause they were so out of date 3rd and ian holloway 2nd lol |

| Hang on a mo... there has been a sizable vote for Bob Jack who you'd have to be pushing 90 to even vaguely remember so presumably voted for because of (a) longevity and (b) integral to our beginnings and early success as a Football League club, so presumably on nothing more than an understanding of the men who made our club and he's followed in the pecking order by Derek Adams.
Please tell me there isn't going to be a poll for greatest chairman. |
