| Just having a look at the table. Next season in League 1 could be interesting, if we get promoted automatically with Swindon and Forest Green/Cheltenham, with Cheltenham/Forest Green winning the play-offs. Will be a great league with Oxford, Portsmouth and Bristol Rovers already there, potentially Reading too.
Don't worry though, you lot may get lucky if Yeovil get promoted back to the league. |

Don't worry though, you lot may get lucky if Yeovil get promoted back to the league. It would be churlish not to mention their splendid win against an improving Scunthorpe which, I must admit, left this Greek very impressed. However, should Swindon Town's season falter after sending Eoin Doyle back to Bradford their worst nightmare could see City promoted as champions. Our green chums would certainly "know their place" by then. |

| I think it's quite quaint how the thought of playing footballing powerhouses like Oxford and Bristol Rovers gets him all excited. TBF to him the possibility of Exeter spending a season (the 2nd in their entire history lol) in a league actually above Argyle is indeed an unbelievable achievement - if it happens. |

| Indeed, I think in my entire City supporting life (over 50 years at The Park) I think we have only finished above Gargoyle once, and that by a point I think!
No matter, what we are seeing is a seismic power shift, not just in the Argyle v City thing but also the "sugar daddy" v supporter owned club.
You should enjoy watching from afar as "little" Exeter overpower the superpower that was Plymouth Argyle#largestcitynevertoplayinthetopflight. |

You'll highly likely drop back into the play off positions where you'll avoid us in the Semis making it to Wembley whereby we'll give you a right royal turking and put you back in yer box |

| We are without a doubt, winning the league and going up as Champions. This is pretty much confirmed now that Eoin has left Swindon.
I reckon the humongous club that is Forest Green Village Rovers will be the ones to knock you out of the Play Off's this time. |

I wouldn't get too excited, you know what they say about the Manager of the month curse and its usually about this time of year your lots form falls off a cliff. First you blow the autos, then you blow it at Wembley, thats if you get to the play offs. You didn't last year did you. |

| Like Geez says though Doyle leaving Swindon could see them not only pipped by City but us as well. Personally If I were a Geek I'd save my crowing for the end of the season it's a long old haul yet with suspensions, injuries and plain old shitty luck and bad refs will all play a massive part. Let's not forget that without our now traditional shit start to the season we'd be easily up with the pair of you in the autos now. |

| Is that the seismic gap that's been expanding year on year between Exeter Chiefs and Exeter City FC supporters? |

| Well bully for you!
Surely you can see that getting big crowds, presumably taking more gate money and still being below us makes our achievement all the more impressive?
15k crowds and still league 2? Nothing to be proud of TBH, just an indication of consistant bad management!
The slump continues....... |

At least we never ended up in the conference though. |

At least we never ended up in the conference though. I started supporting us in our first year in the Conference, still my favourite league I've seen us in. The football might not be as pleasing on the eye but the days out were incredible. 50 lads rocking up in a random town you've never heard of before on the outskirts of Manchester at 10am pissed out our heads. Take me back. |
