Frightened of the Northern Giants so played and failed to get the nil nil, there's always a mug team who gets relegated on the last day and it could be the Budget Greens.

We're nowhere near safe, though I still think 52 points will be the magic figure.

Defeat coupled with all the other results today makes next week even more of a pressure game.

Deep in a relegation scrap going into the second half of March is not good by any measure.  Four teams go down, there's a very good chance we will be one of them.

SAT 16 Mar 2019League One

Fleetwood Town 2-0 Plymouth Argyle

League One
Fleetwood kept their faint hopes of a late play-off charge alive with a 2-0 win over Plymouth.
Second-half goals from Jason Holt and Ash Hunter moved 10th-placed Town to within five points of Doncaster in sixth with eight games to go.
The defeat leaves Argyle still looking over their shoulder, with Derek Adams' men just three points above the drop zone.
There were chances galore at Highbury but neither Fleetwood nor Plymouth could find a goal in the first half to brighten a grey day on the Fylde coast.
Fleetwood's Paddy Madden, Lewie Coyle and Ross Wallace all had chances, with the man who felled Town at Home Park, Freddie Ladapo, testing Alex Cairns up the other end.
Graham Carey also tried his luck but there was no separating the two sides at the break.
Fleetwood upped the ante in the second half with Madden, Wes Burns and Ched Evans all going close.
But it was an unlikely man who got the opener with Holt scoring his first league goal for the club as he converted Madden's cross at the back stick in the 77th minute.
Town made it two just minutes later as Hunter pounced on Burns' cross in the six-yard box in the 80th minute just two minutes after coming off the bench.
Match report supplied by the Press Association.

Sounded a crap game on the wireless and that the conditions ruined it.

The bottom half does look very tight. We should be fine but there is the issue of having Charlton, Barnsley and Doncaster to play in April. Could see us getting nothing from those 3 games. We also go to Gillingham on Good Friday. Occurred to me I've never seen us win there, despite a few visits. The record books show we've lost 8 times in a row at Priestfield and haven't won there since 1981.

It's important to win against either Rovers or Blackpool to keep the pressure off. Do that, and I think we'll stay up at a canter....but if we're still on 45 points come April 1st, I think we could slide right back down.

There were gusts of around 70 miles per hour during the afternoon, and the conditions were very difficult for players and supporters alike.

Fleetwood came out on top 2-0 after late goals from Jason Holt and substitute Ashley Hunter.
Adams said: "The game shouldn't be played in these conditions. We are in an entertainment business and people pay very good money to come and watch.

"They didn't get entertainment today. The wind was all over the place and I don't think that football should be played in these conditions.
"That's not taking anything away from the result. We are a spectator sport, we are in an entertainment business and there is no way that was entertainment today.

Any excuse will do for Derek -is he for real? confused
