| Well this is the one weve been waiting for James 'ee saved us Brent and his rag tag bunch of arse blowers and tryers versus Andrew Pileys established and hugely backed by their 3500 fans club Fleetwood Town. Fleetwood is a small town in Blackpool famous for its whippet and terrier racing and black pudding throwing contests. Starting out life as a Crown Bowls club ex electrician Pilley bought the club five minutes ago converted to a football club and smashed into league 1 in 2014 fast becoming one of the leagues big hitters. They have a large squad of football players and particular ones to look out for could be a forward or two and possibly a midfielder. The owner has invested in a huge and magnificent, probably two tiered stand which seats 2000 with corporate facilities rumoured to provide more income for the team than all of the premiership rugby teams combined. Argyle are literally without any league 1 standard players after James Brents flat refusal to give Adams any money in the summer, in fact it's rumoured that Adams had to take on a paper round to get the funds to resign ageing lothario Graham Carey. If the crowd gets behind Carey like someone else's wife (source pasoti "the rumour flying about [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] can be good but does tend to get distracted. Akkerons biggest goal threat is arguably Nathan Blissett and ATD favourite ever since our local rivals Torquay United decided they didn't want to play league football any more and sold him to James Brent for £11.47 with adds ons of buying the Torquay chairman a pint if he ever scores, the pint has been bought and savoured thanks very much. We tried to interview Akkerons manager Adams but when we knocked on the office door he was heard to mutter, "fooks sake probably that slag Cornah" and rapidly bolted out the back door. We asked a portly Janner volunteer who was cleaning out the toilets what were our chances and he told us that Akkeron will definately win by at least five goals, he then proceeded to try and sell us some second hand football shirts which his friend was busily signing in the back of a Ford Transit. Fleetwood have won 5 drawn 1 and lost 4 this season giving them more than 300% the points total of Plymouth Akkeron who literally can't hit a cows arse with a banjo at the moment although a run out against Exeter Citys second string recently brought a much needed draw to instil confidence in some of their more deluded fans. Hopefully Fleetwood will find it hard to progress wading through the piles of litter and vermin that infest Home Park these days and not realise what a wonderful pitch is underneath, frankly it's our only hope. Akkeron Argyle 1 Careys' arse after the ball takes a deflection from a discarded Ginsters pasty thrown by a disgruntled fan Fleetwood Town 3. Ps. Sorry Natalie.

| Fleetwood home average 3.271 ground capacity 5,327 - no way we can compete financially with such well supported giants, however I'm backing Derek's battlers to overachieve and stroll to a classy two nil win. |

| Love the Plymouth Akkeron thing, that's a flyer, can't think why it hasn't surfaced before. Confidence is what's needed, not optimism. Two different things, one real, one imagined. Watch out for that puddle ! |

For those not as au fait with Akkeron history as myself Plymouth Argyle was renamed Plymouth Akkeron after a Phoenix like rise from the ashes of obscurity after Lord James Brent, Order of the civic centre, Knight of Efford and Austin Fort, Keeper of the Pigsty and General of the dogs of WOR, managed to save Argyle from almost certain success after some chancer named Buttivant tried to buy the club for the bloke that has now ended up owning Everton. Weem eternally grateful for it an all. |

| Craig Hicks is the man in the midle tomorrow, was promoted to the list of EFL referees this summer after previously officiating in the National League.
He has shown 41 yellow cards and sent-off one player in 10 games this season.
Seven of those matches have been in League Two, with another couple in the Checkatrade Trophy. The only League One fixture he has refereed was Portsmouth’s 2-1 home defeat by Oldham Athletic last Saturday.
His only red card came when Chesterfield defender Bradley Barry was sent-off for a two-footed tackle in a game against Accrington Stanley last month.

| Match Preview by Fleetwood
The Cod Army make their longest journey of the season – a 650 mile return trip as they head to Devon to take on Plymouth Argyle at Home Park on Saturday. (only £15.00 coach travel fare Chairman Andy Pilley has once again subsidised the cost of away travel for all Fleetwood Town with coach travel heavily discounted for the rest of the season!) Fleetwood will be looking to build on a positive result following Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Morecambe in the Checkatrade Trophy. Wes Burns’ long distance strike and an own goal won the contest for Town and put them on the cusp of the knockout stages.
Tough start for Argyle
The Pilgrims have found it tough in Sky Bet League One since gaining promotion from the fourth tier last season, and sit bottom of the table after 11 games.
They do however go into Saturday’s match on the back of a win against local rivals Exeter City on Tuesday. The Checkatrade Trophy tie ended 2-2 but Plymouth won the extra point with victory on penalties.
Argyle have lost seven of their last nine matches, but did record an impressive 2-0 win over Charlton Athletic in August when Jake Jervis scored twice.
We’ve met before
Plymouth and Fleetwood have met four times in the past, all in League Two, and both sides have won two matches apiece.
The last meeting was a comprehensive 4-0 win for the Green Army at Highbury in February 2014. The previous fixture at Home Park saw an away victory as a David Ball double secured a 2-0 win for Town.
The first two meetings saw a 3-0 Fleetwood win at Highbury and a 2-1 Plymouth victory in Devon.
Ones to watch
Winger Jake Jervis has been a shining light in Argyle’s difficult start and as well that brace against Charlton, has also featured in all but two of their games so far.
A product of the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth system, Jervis signed his first professional contract with Birmingham City. Jervis had been loaned out to plenty of Football League clubs including Preston, Carlisle and Portsmouth, before signing for Turkish side Elazigspor in 2013. After a spell at Ross County, Plymouth signed him in 2015 where he has since made almost 100 appearances.
Irish midfielder Graham Carey is another player who is popular amongst the Argyle faithful. The former Celtic player has spent most of his career in Scotland with St Mirren and Ross County, but also spent a loan spell at Huddersfield.
Despite speculation that Carey would leave the club in the summer, he signed a new contract in June to keep him at the club where he has gained cult status. Between 2009 and 2010 he represented Republic of Ireland U21’s six times.
A name all Fleetwood supporters will be familiar with is Antoni Sarcevic. Town’s 2014 Play Off Final hero now plies his trade down in Devon since his move from Shrewsbury Town in January.
The Manchester native played over 100 times for Town between 2013 and 2016, scoring 18 times, and can now add two Argyle goals to his tally which came at the end of the last season. Town certainly know Sarcevic proves a threat on Saturday afternoon.

| This 'team' is completely incapable of winning. Another diabolical Home Park horror show from by far the worst team in L1, L2 and the Vanarama and an easy win for piss poor Fleetwood.
Argo 0-4 Fleetwood
