but can his fat arse fit on that bench now? If we really sign him again and ladapo goes then del has some serious questions to answer as does the board cause that is retarded in terms of doing whats best for the club. No doubt the answer will be truthly we decided to cash in on ladapo to fund the short fall wwith the clusterfuck mk2 and brought in a cheap as chips replacement that was dogshit the firs time around.

Derek Adams wants to add two more new recruits to his Plymouth Argyle squad before the end of the January transfer window.

However, he does not expect any signings to be made before the League One away game against Southend United on Saturday.

Adams has completed one piece of business in the transfer window with the return of Oscar Threlkeld.

The 24-year-old has started a fourth spell at Argyle, on loan from Belgian club Waasland-Beveren until the end of the season.

Adams admitted he had missed out on some of his transfer window targets already.

It means that Threlkeld will be the only new addition to the squad for visit to 10th-placed Southend United

He continued: “We have missed out on a good few players already, that have moved on to other clubs, either on loan or on permanent deals.

“They have been able to get a better deal going to a team in a higher league or in a higher position.”

Adams does not believe the fact that Argyle are in 23 position in League One, and facing a fight against relegation, will adversely impact his recruitment plans.

He said: “We have lost out to teams at the top of our division, and to ones in other countries as well.”

As it stands, Adams has the financial scope within his budget to add two more players to his squad.

He said: “We have decided the positions but I’m obviously not going to put that out in the public domain.”

A new centre-back is almost certain to be on his shopping list, and possibly a striker as well.

While Threlkeld has arrived at Argyle, winger Gregg Wylde has left and signed an 18-month contract with Scottish Premiership side Livingston.

Adams was asked whether any other players would be leaving Home Park.

He said: “Nobody at this moment in time but as the transfer window comes to an end then I’m sure that will happen.”

I hear Jock McShit 37 yr old central defender from Berwick Rangers may be on his way he is apparently within the director of footballs budget and has been given the nod by
"I haven't got bottomless pockets" Hallett.

Adams has put a number of offers on the table for potential new recruits.

Not looking good is it?

Of course the League position won't affect possible signings-loads of players want to get a Relegation on their CV. And slog all the way down to Plymouth for less than a couple dozen games with a Club that'll be working on a reduced budget next year and aren't likely to offer terms for next season.

What decent players (i.e. ones another club will pay a fee for) has DA signed anyway? Carey, Jervis Bradley? That's on a season, ten years and we might have a team-if no one gets sold.

Even Taylor, last season's golden wonder is sat on the bench now with no one seemingly interested in forking out money.

From a financial viewpoint (SH take note) the fee received for Jervis has been wasted several times over on wages for player who are clearly not good enough for the third tier basement

Derry City are regarded as the favourites to sign the 27-year-old former Celtic trainee.
But there is also interest thought to be in interest in him from other clubs such as Argyle and Scottish Championship side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

So Argo are competing with the mighty Derry City and Cally Thistle. lol!
