Grasier that's because it's a no win bet lol
Nobody here wants Argyle to be relegated in the first place just to save £50
Personally think it will go to the wire....Adams SURELY must know that the back 5 including Macey have to be red carded on January 1st and must have targets and finances in place no matter what the jock says about not going to Community Si and asking for ducats
Am rapidly losing patience with Hallett...Bees assertion that he has been here 2 years already is coming home to roost
Basket case of a club....that refurb is dead in the water as well....Will just be left in current spec

We had over twenty shots today and sixty odd percent possession. Tells a story.

The best form of defence, when you don't have one, is to attack ?

I'm still amazed that few people saw this shambles coming, when the first choice defence of last season were either on loan, or allowed to leave without a fight.

What can you do eh? Even after Saturdays showing there are still fans stating that we won't get relegated. They are obviously able to ignore any evidence in front of their face or secretly know that the community chest will be opened in January with millions available to save our season.
If we carry on with the current setup we will be lucky to not taste our first non league football ever.

Halletts backed Adams, we can look at it a few ways,
1 he doesn't want to upset Brent , 1a cause hes trying to get him to sell the 30%
2 he doesn't want to pay for another of brents mistakes by paying him off.
3 it was a vote of confidence and adams is fecked
4 he really thinks Adams is the man for the job.

I can't see Adams getting sacked anytime soon because of the pay-off. Which leaves Hallett having no choice but to financially back him in January. That's what should happen in reality. But this is Argyle, so it'll probably be either DA to carry on with no investment and we get relegated or DA gets sacked and Wotton takes over. Either way we are up the creek without a paddle

It’s not a no win bet because according to most on here we’re going down anyway and St. Luke’s gain £50 either way, so what about it?

That 5 year contract, in an industry where there are only 5/92 managers with a length of tenure exceeding that length of time at their current clubs, was always either inspired or downright negligent. With the right set up and scouting pool in place, I'd say it's quite inspired. At PAFC, on the other hand...

SHORELY the bods who awarded the contract put in certain clauses/breaks, though? Even fixed mortgage terms are usually 2-3 years...

I'm of the school that thinks it was almost petulant, knowing he was going to have to hand over his big chief's hat. . We've seen how vindictive he can be at Oldway Manor and at a Fans' Q and A. when he let his guard down briefly. He certainly looks the sort.

Bringing in Tash was petulance. The 5 year deal was naivety hoping he would continually exceed his budget. What hasn't been taken into account by Brent/the Board was the need for a 24 man squad and the obvious diluting of quality.

I saw the five year deal as a way for Brent to sleep safe in the knowledge that the football was "taken care of" for five years leaving him to concentrate on the most important aspect of being a football club owner ie concentrating on property development deals.

Whatever way you dress it up it still amounts to the same thing. Let's say, hypothetically speaking, that we sack Adams. Does Wotton get sacked too ? I'd put my house on him getting the managers job as he would be the "cheap option". After all, that's what Adams was wasn't he ?

I mean hadn't Adams been out of work for 18 months before he got the Argyle gig ?

Like I've said before sacking Adams is the easy bit and if and when they do be prepared to be underwhelmed with his replacement, really underwhelmed. It's obvious what the focus is for the next eighteen months at least.

Looks like the Daily rag has reached an all time low in trying to find an Argyle story.

We're way too low in the food chain to bring in managers that have their own coaching staff, I'd imagine whoever comes in would have to work with the whats handed to him. Don't forget Wottsy bleeds Green and knows this club inside out which is worth far more than any tactical nous.

If it was Wotton with someone upstairs with technical nous,
I wouldn't be as worried but we know that won't happen if it's Wotton it would be him alone.

Can't be worse then Fletcher eh

Graizees, Argyle are currently 9/25 on to get relolegated, why not lay the bet on betfair at evens, chuck the inevitable winnings to chazza yerself?
