| Absolutely Reg. People are getting ahead of themselves re Hallett. He's just bought back part of HHP, and bought some of rent's shares. I see no actual extra investment, just a changing of the guard. The partial HHP purchase is to be applauded, no doubt, but anyone who thinks the mankover is going to be shelved needs to think again. I can't believe a contract was signed last week without full awareness of the change of captain at the wheel, so clearly that's not the case. In fact the downgrade may well have been Hallett's idea to suit his own budget, why else would these amendments be put forward at such a time ? Weird

| The stench of brent is finally being lifted. I just hope HP is a bit more fragrant from now on. Time will tell. |

| I guess whether people are comfortable or not with Hallett depends largely on what exactly you expect him to do. For me, from the get-go he is in a totally different ball park to Brent, purely and simply because while Brent waited like a reluctant vulture until we could be picked up for virtually zero, Hallett has put close to 9mill of his own big ones into the club. Brent would have undoubtedly made a seven-figure profit on today’s announcement, after putting in fook all. That type of monetary uplift is THE one and only reason he got involved. Virtually zero personal risk on his part, and an almost certain future cash bonanza given the rock bottom starting point. Bravo James. Halletts commitment financially, is stratosphericly different. Tring made a point that perhaps Hallett may move in circles where real investment is possible. That would be great, but given the percentage of club ownership Hallett now holds, it would almost mean Hallett surrendering a huge amount of his shares to facilitate more outside investment. At this point in time I can’t see that as being on the cards. The club clawing back Brent’s landgrab to some extent is massive though. I’d love to hear Halletts take on this. To be a fly on the wall when the subject of Brent’s shitty ice shack having to move would have been a joy to behold. Edit...Bristol City 0-1 Argyle If Carlsberg did Tuesdays.... |

| Agree, moving the proposed ice shed is a really significant event amongst the hullabaloo of yesterdays 30% Brent Shareholding announcement, I will personally rejoice more when Brents stake is 0%. "The club also announces that it has entered into a conditional contract to buy the land (adjacent to the Stadium) at Higher Home Park that is not required for the new international ice arena. It is proposed that, subject to planning, this arena will be moved to the west - so that it will sit closer to the Life Centre - and Argyle will acquire the balance of the Higher Home Park land." |

| “There has been money generated for the stadium, now we need to generate money for the team.”
Quote from Derek in the daily rag today, will be interesting to see if that happens under the new HP regime. |

Consolidate in League 1 and hopefully the refurb can now continue without the hinderance of Brent (that planning permission still showing interim by the way) and big team investment in the summer of 2019 |

| Thing is we are sat here worried about What Nools gonna do now,What Bents gonna do with his 30% share, wheres the iceshed gonna be, Know its a bit farm like but would it be worth approaching the club asking if We could have some of our questions answered by Hallett, maybe allay some of the fears,
He can't have his head in the sand to the same extent of Bent, He must know theres a divide in the fans, social media or not. Its not gonna heel over night, but knowing what his plans our and maybe getting the questions we have answered might be a good start. |

My mind is made up. It was put there to mock the latest imminent status of the grandstand that has persisted for a decade and more under various boardroom inhabitants. Brent is just the latest and worst to be mocked. I see no reason to stop the mocking, now His Imminence Lord Hallett has increased his shareholding by in effect buying more of Brent's shares. While I have a grain of hope Hallett might ensure more of the football money stays with the football, I have little faith in the end result of the great free new grandstand debacle. And while we are all pleased some of HHP will come under PAFC ownership, I suspect that was due to the wishes of Brent wanting to cash in and wash his hands of any property development headaches. A strange one to fathom as His Imminence, the new Lord Protector, is on record as saying he doesn't want a property development headache at this stage in his life. |

No Beez. It was put up 246? days ago. It was put up to mock Brent. Nothing to do with other various Boardroom inhabitants. |
