[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Thanks for that Link it will save me a fortune in time and diesel instead of making sure I "have" to come down once a fortnight for my pasty fix! | i really cant understand the love for dewdneys i like something that resembles meat in my pasties one place not mentioned on here hooe pasties lots of steak but just a bit on the small side and i had a really nice pasty at the cornish maize maze although not sure who made them. |

| Yup, Dewdneys are as flat as pancakes, have little meat and the neat they do add is from dubious areas of our four legged pets, there's far too much seasoning and you spend the rest of the day being reminded by your guts that you've eaten one. So why do they taste so bloody nice! |

| I'd agree about the Dewdneys. Trouble is that they have almost become generic - like "I'm going to do some hoovering" - or "I'm writing with a biro" - "I'm going for a dewdneys". |

Up my neck of the country the word is 'ginsters' The only fairly decent ones up here are west cornwall pasties. I must admit I do like the lamb and mint ones _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! | A few weeks ago when i was buying my 2 large Ron Dewdneys pasties, the woman said "they're bigger today" so i jokingly said "does that mean you've put some meat in them"? Still prefer my home made ones when Argyle aren't home |
