| The draft collaboration has been agreed in principle but will be voted on by the two separate trust boards next month before coming into play on June 18. If approved by both boards, the two trusts will share a chairman and a chief executive. Suzanne Tracey, the current chief executive of RD&E, will become chief executive of both organisations. The current chairman of RD&E, James Brent, will be appointed as chairman of both trusts, though they will continue with two separate boards. | Obviously trying to compete with George Osborne on the job front. The ice shed will still be the primary task in hand to unlock the potential of the one pound pavilions. |

Interesting. There's been big protests against the "STP" in North Devon - how many pies does this Brent character have his fingers in? |

| Jim's the perfect Tory Boy chairman of a Trust. Warm words and ambiguity from the top whilst the NHS is being set up to fail allowing Jeremy Hunt to ride in as the saviour, preaching privatisation is the answer to all our health needs (as long as you can afford it). |

Indeed. Underfund. Demoralise. Privatise. They dare not tell the truth, so allow their media friends to con the masses into accepting the death of the NHS by a thousand cuts. Privatisations extract more money from the NHS, so now the masses are being groomed into paying more in taxes to profit the likes of Branson and the American medical insurance leeches, waiting in the wings. If the Tories aren't removed, the NHS will be two tier before long. Pay up or wait...and wait...and wait. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Dear old sustainable Jim. Given his track record through most of his working life at Citi, racking up 50 billion dollar losses, and bale outs of ten times that figure, and some, I find it quite extraordinary this guy still gets taken seriously when talking of money. Rigged markets, rigged press, apart from the grass root online communities that refuse to swallow the bull. There's a stand off coming, and a very big one. |
