So, Brent is getting on with clearing off the footy oiks from his own newly acquired parkland then. I wonder if the club are paying for that demolition work as well in a round about way, maybe through a mortgage, and if they were, who would know, and who would say.

Not sure what if anything they are doing with that facade that photos elsewhere have shown but thats clearly not under existing enablement work permitted

Personally that 1936 front façade has seen its best days and should now go....why do people see it through misty damp eyes full of nostalgia....get real its just plain ugly....replace it with a state of the art modern entrance facility....it looks like just leaning against it will bring it down....someone please do it... so we don't just waste money on shoring it up....it ain't Stonehenge for goodness sake.

A proper owner would have demolished the facade and the whole decrepit mayflower stand and built a proper stand fit for the 21st century and fit for a club that has aspirations of being more than a L1/L2 yo yo club.

Walking through Central Park yesterday couldn’t resist being nosey so Had a look at all this building work that’s meant to be hive of activity (the hearald)
Basically Grandstand still not been touched..but jimmys car parks looking nice & tidy though it seems the only work going on seems to be going his on jimmys land surely he ain’t got the brass neck to start all his own crap before the grandstand mankover...well it sure looks like it up there

They will need to car park as a working/storage area for the refurb.

Out of interest Plymouth City Planning have a site visit on 5th June doubtless to ascertain if Brent is overstepping the current restrictions
