Leeds have activated his buy-out clause at Barnsley, believed to be close to £500,000, with an appointment expected in the next 48 hours.

seems a strange appointment considering Leeds are 10th and Barnsley are 21st and by all accounts he was on a worse run of results than the previous Leeds manager was. 1 win in 16 and that win came against Sunderland!
Not to mention his comments about Leeds in an interview not so long ago,
