GT's build....

So before a brick is laid a trench dug or a digger on site Brent has already axed the new supporters bar incorporated into the original cost of the refurb.
Build your own GT's or bugger off you aint getting one

No mention of the facility being “gifted” to the club once the GTs have made their money back.

So the GT’s and other contributors are funding the actual bricks and mortar build. But they will have to lease the building because it’s on PAFC land.

This could create the mother of all shitstorms at the end of the first 5 yr lease period.

I could understand it if the club were building it and simply sub/letting it to the GTs to run.

I don’t get why the GTs are so keen to try and independently finance a £1m build project ?

Everyday this shyster finds a new way of lowering my opinion of him.

So that's a million to build, don't forget lease costs, running costs to GT are they that niave to expect they will make money? From what I can see in 5 years time, Brent gets a fully paid for, furnished out sports bar for free. Well not free as he will have 5 years of lease payments too, so he will actually profit. The sad thing is boycotting said sports bar will not hurt him one iota, it would hurt the GT's and eventually drive them bankrupt.

Not forgetting because it's leased on club land, Brent will have full control of access and open hours. TJE GTS will have not got a clue what's hit them. What are they thinking??

Ever since the "taverners" unashamedly paraded around as a pseudo charity, I've had no time for them whatsoever. They've become part of the banker's establishment and follow the same culture. They were guided by Ridsdale. What more to people need to know ?

All part of grabbing more property/land assets off the "club " in the future by various individuals, following the banker's lead. The more head they are given, the more they will step aside for Brent when the time comes. It WILL happen. Their lauding it in that corner will make it easier for Brent to take away the whole corner of the stadium from the club when it suits his plans and stripping.
Disgusting culture within the club these days, all pretending it's not happening.

What happens if the club is sold and the new owner refuses to renew the lease?

...and how much is the lease? Anything more than a nominal quid a year is taking the piss.

Brent has said if Argyle get to the Championship he will need to find a new owner to take us further. If we have any ambition at all, then promotion within five years should certainly be within the realms of a possibility?

So is this GT's a registered charity or a bonafide limited company? I'm afraid they must be complicit in this deal somehow as its all been done in the back room, tad stinky I think!!

I'm not sure what sort of company it is, but "the Gt's" are basically Gary McGuire as owner and I believe a family member as director.  This info was jpeg'd on facebook very recently.  Somebody might be able to point you to it?

I saw that on fb as well registered at companys house GT limited gary McGuire as owner & his son is a director

Many must be complicit in this deal, including the GTs - of course it would seem they are still short of £500k so if they don't make the total would love to see them drop out and ask for their £87500 back in cash!!

Yes Harve, but in cash and they can walk away? At least it's been published that it's owed.

Seems like a perfect opportunity for our American banker chappie to step in again and offer the taverners guy a nice loan on 'below market rate'. Lol. Wouldn't surprise me in the least given the carefully choreographed announcements over the last few months. The perfect hidden sliding agenda.

How many more unannounced vultures are there out there ?
