Hmm, I'll reserve judgement just yet, I thought we played better at Rotherham last week, there's still a fragility and an instinct to sit too deep, illustrated by Oldham's corner count and still too much hoofing it out. It was one of those days where nearly all our chances went in although we could have had a couple more. The confidence factor is the important thing though, they know they can win games now.

Lameiras looked trickey but was easily brushed off the ball and too many times didn't get the ball away when he could have. Taylor is the big difference, he's looked like the missing link since he's come back.

Suspended my boycott and radio/ifollow routine for the day due to unavoidable family/friend holiday get together. What a lucky charm I am.

Lameiras started well, Carey was technically acres apart from anyone else on the pitch but had the physical presence of a butterfly, Taylor, hopeless in the air, showed some really nice feet and thinking. Happy for Jervis coming on like that having been the patsy for so long this season in a thankless role. I like tall players like him when they play wide and cut in.
Adams actually allowed his players to have a bit of a pop for a change, and what a difference, but then no surprise there. Will this clear vindication change his horrible ongoing tactics ? No.
Oldham dinked it around to very little effect, and nearly always always went out wide, with their crossing about as useful as Wylde. Not impressed.
Wore my full ATD anti surveillance kit, so I wasn't thrown out. That was a hoot and raised a few eyebrows.  pirat
Sort of enjoyed my sentence for the day, but then it is holiday time and real things don't count, time for unicorns.  Met up with more friends  in the pub afterward including a returning home one of the Two Unfortunates who is not quite so unfortunate these days. Football comes and goes when you've seen it all before, other fish to fry.
