| No doubt many will say ''thank god we are out of that trophy'' which to an extent is correct. However, DA aims to win every game and the single fact is that a strong Argyle team could not beat a team 18th in Lge 2. It's time JB rolled the dice. Back or sack. |

They're 18th in league two. Even if they put out their first team, how strong is that? |

| Embarrasing result, am awaiting Dereks comments - perhaps it was a rubbish game that seemed to have a bearing at Pompey. |

It's time JB rolled the dice. Back or sack. They are fuming on tother site, and the calls for adams to go will grow louder no doubt. EXAMPLEarrythewurzel wrote:-
I could understand the sentiment of posters who say we’re better off outa this competition if I thought DA shared the same view. Had he shared that view he surely would have fielded a second string and youth. He didn’t. He played a strong team and wanted to win and yet we lost to 18th in league 2. No matter how you dress it up we lost again to a poor side in a league below us. That isn’t very good at all and would be the final nail in the coffin for a manager in a similar position to DA. Most managers in a similar position would be hearing ‘You’re getting sacked in the morning” ringing out and this result must surely be a massive step towards his departure?
I’m feeling pretty low about our chances of surviving relegation now.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Yeah, twas a terrible fact that a decent-ish starting line-up lost to a lowly Town side, sums up the season so far. I would still give him to the new year though. |

| I have a horrible feeling that those of you esteemed fans on ATD that want Adams to stay will, in the next couple of months, be on the same side of the argument as the squire. He will clean his specks thoughtfully, suck in that alarming belly and tell all you lousy fickle football fans in his christmas message how to behave decently, not cheat, and that while he understands the concern, he is not the sort to let down a fine individual that helped Akkeron climb out of the mire. His project is for the long term, and Adams is his man, relegation or no. And guess what, sad as it might seem, I believe such is Newell's chirp in his ear, that he is more likely to influence Adams' future with Brent than anyone, being the super duper, clean living, 200 year fan and counting, oik voice of the street that he portrays himself as. Brent knows diddly and has to listen to somebody. He will assume Newell will know the lay of the land, which of course he doesn't. He will just try to second guess and mirror his handler.
Adams out, followed as quickly as possible by Brent, once the next manager fails as well. |

| Must admit watching Derek's last couple of post match interviews after a loss particularly after Pompey is of a man who is starting to lose a sense of reality he is now getting into calmly making excuses and painting a picture of perceived performances that bears no resemblance to pitch activities. If we had a 'normal' owner then indeed his days would be numbered but then this is Akkeron Argyle where normal rules don't apply. |

If Argyle had a normal owner, there's no reason to believe that results wouldn't be far superior under Adams and the question of his sacking would not arise in the first place. |

| And Adams has ALWAYS seen a different match to the rest of us, it's in his dna along with his 'prudence'. |
