| That the Far Post is being exhumed, points to very little being done in that corner of the ground. By my calculations, "around 20 thousand" does not suggest both corners will be redeveloped. An extended grandstand and renewed mayflower seating will easily give 6000 plus, Its looking as if the money will be spent on the back end of the grandstand with bolt on steel structure, and little else I'm also expecting the iconic entrance to be flattened. Its still odds on some of the viewing area at the corners will be taken for 'business purposes'. Of course these businesses can be owned by the club, but who's going to make sure the profits trickle down to the football. |

| I don't think Argyle have ever even intimated that there will be any sort of side extension to the Grandstand. Those musings have only ever come from wishful thinking fans. |

| Brent quite clearly has an ongoing personal issue with the fact fans would like a decent real purpose-built supporters/sports bar at the club. Never once did he commit to including one in his HHP plan. Only now has he succumbed to revamping a 40 year old portakabin - and why?
Because by doing up the old shed, this enables him to dismiss any requests for a proper public fans bar to be included in his cheap grandstand revamp. That's why.
Brent doesn't do transparency, but that doesn't stop most of us from seeing right through him. |

True. The "extended grandstand" thing is more Brentite obfuscation and now thinking about it, plainly refers to extending out the back for the Brent/Hallet LCD conferencing/scoffing experience. Funnily enough Rotherham's grandstand profit centre use probably gives an inkling of what is planned here. An ideal cultural centre for pasotiites. If at least the "disabled" corner is not filled in right up to the Devonport roof for proper football viewing, than I will be dead against the "revamp", as plainly nothing else is going to happen to the stadium in my lifetime, once this safe haven with a guaranteed return for Hallet's money is set up. The only good thing to come out of it will possibly be a valued municipal park still free of philistines trying to make noise, rubbish and money. HHP will be the next separate worry and possibly a bigger worry, given the squire owns it and no doubt has a long term residential development dream for it. While the new green spaces plan classifies HHP as non green space, he might be dreaming a long time, and I suspect the previous bunch will get their profit with the cricket pitch etc before Brent does. |

| Lot of talk on Freechat that the working group meet this Thursday and have been asked to sign Non Disclosure Agreements. Obviously must be self interest involved.
Just why wont the Club state openly who is within this Group. Thats a genuine question and not having a pop per se.....?? Are we faced with seeing Webb or Newell or both within this group and hence the reticence to disclose |

| i wager those two sapps are on that group along with bucket rattler sue, drummer boy, de liar, captain wankspasm and ollie left hand wank always 9.
it find it hard to believe some if not all are not in the group in someway as brent will want his allies involved to keep the costs down and get away with the shittest stand he can. |

| Putting Newell on the consulting group would be plain daft. What the feck does he know about building grandstands? Might as well have me on there - and I'll freely admit to knowing feck all about it.
If ("I loved the big boxy things in the corners so different to any other ground!"... Well yes. There's a very good reason for that - it serves no purpose whatsoever other than to allow the club to be asset-stripped just a little bit more and other club's haven't been allowed to get away with it) he's involved in any way then the integrity and validity of the whole process will be brought into question.
Perhaps he is involved and they can't think of any good reason why and that's why it's all hush hush and "you ain't seen me, right?" with regards to naming those who are involved? |

Am only quoting from elsewhere from a "fan" who claims a family member is on the group and the details and those involved will be published on the website Thursday which kinda make a mockery of the the NDA's being touted |

A friend and a very reliable 'sauce' has also informed me that the pig is indeed on the working group. WHY? What possible corporate, technical, construction and architectural expertise could this utter buffoon bring to the working group? |

His brief will be to persuade the rest of the working group to be as one in public praise of whatever the club see fit to do. "It's the best we could have hoped for in the circumstances. The club and all fans are in agreement here, and now we ask the council to give it the go ahead blah blah blah" |

| Hallet only put up the £5m because he know there's no chance of this happening. When we get a proper owner and brent and his hangers on are history the dilapidated eyesore mayflower can be demolished and replaced with a stand befitting a club of Argo's potential. I look forward to a better day. |

Sadly the request by the Trust, on behalf of its thousand members, to be represented on the working party was rejected by James Brent.
I think you must be a farm poster to be on this working party |
