| So what's everyone doing? Anyone going? Score predictions?
Moi... I'm aviva'd to find out the match is on Fox Sports here in glorious HD at 5.30Am - otherwise known as the middle of the night. Still, no scrabbling around like usual with a dodgy internet feed for me!
I shall imbibe.

| Not sure I can bear to look. Potential for embarrassment both on and off the pitch.
On a brighter note, for them anyway, it looks like Doncaster are set to do a Northampton from last season. |

| It's now obvious Argo can't finish top 3 so the ones to watch who will also edge us out of the play-off places are Grimsby and Exeter
Back to Sunday's debacle, there's nothing to get excited about here. We'll get thumped out of sight by a 2nd/3rd string Liverpool side full of players no-one recognises and DA gets no budget to save our collapsing season.
Liverpool XI 8-0 Argo
Glad I'm not going........or watching |

| I haven't yet been bothered to work out if a 1.30pm kick off is either going to be very late at night or very early in the morning here.
So it's not looking good.
Liverpool 5 Argyle 0 Freathy 1

| Going up early doors tomorrow. Was going to try and get Everton Leicester tickets but I think the majority plan is to frequent as many pubs as we possibly can all afternoon/night. Sunday is gonna be a struggle, forshore. |

| Watching it on the box in the warm with a big roast dinner and a beer at hand, the thought of being surrounded by half 'n' halfers was too much to bear. |

| See the effect in Plymouth is riveting, came down yesterday and walking up from the station to the roundabout underpass there was a young guy with a rack full of tacky half and half scarves perched precariously on the grass slope. Did smile when everyone walked past not showing the slightest interest, including me. Will leave the excitement to the superluke chanting Avivas. Like several posters on here my enthusiasm has waned in the knowledge that Adams won't get a penny for squad improvement given his budget (quote) "has already been set". Great to see freathy has deviated from his usual 2-0 prediction to 8-0 to reflect the importance of the occasion. |

| I'm going up, accompanied by Homeslice junior, who's far more excited about it than I am, but then he's 9 and won't be spending most of his weekend behind the wheel of a car. We'll be leaving mid morning on Saturday and staying at a hotel about an hour or so from Liverpool, completing the journey on Sunday morning.
I expect us to lose, and lose badly. It could be a very sombre drive back to God's county on Sunday afternoon. |

| The FA Cup has lost it's appeal for me ever since the big teams started playing their reserves and kids. Little different to that new format paint thing. The gap has never been so big. Turns the logic of men against boys on it's head.
Hope everyone enjoys the Anfield experience though. Like a theme park weekend for many. Those money people that wanted the club to move to Stanley Park were mad. Drive carefully. |

| Off on the train this am, couple of nights in Liverpool, back Monday. Never been to Liverpool, probably won't have much time to look around but I suppose you could say that at least a lifetime wait comes to an end as far as playing at Anfield is concerned. Hope Argyle put up a bit of a show, the motivation of playing at a top club should be enough to ensure maximum competitive spirit is on view and the game provides a great chance for Argyle players to make a name for themselves on a higher stage. Liverpool are obviously strong favourites no matter what team they put out but it isn't a question of going up there and lying down to see how many goals they put past Argyle for me-I want a reasonably competitive game, [as will Derek Adams of course] and will be very disappointed if that isn't the case. Looking forward to it. |

| I Will be glad when its over with and we can get back to the league.
i wondr if brent will give del bhey another £15000 to sign a player or two next week from the income thos game brings in. Clearly most of it is ear marked for the new stand. |

| BBC seem to think that Liverpool are going to be putting out their stiffs, which I suppose might give us a tiny chance if those players aren't particularly up for it. If it was the first team you could pretty much guarentee a 5v0 walloping.
Trying to think when was the last time a League 2 team knocked out a top flight team in the FA cup? I think Oxford knocked out Swansea last year, so it does happen, but not against 'champions league' level clubs. Bradford famously beat Chelsea a couple of years ago, but they were in League 1 at the time.
Gap between top and bottom in the league is greater than ever. I'm probably being a romantic but if I see the Liverpool team with loads of foreign names I don't recognise then I think we may have an outside chance. |

Or he has lost it along with his phone! Im doing well this season, No lost phone YET. Love the optimistic YET! Cheltenham away could be favourite for that to happen! Anyway, back to the OP, the DRF will be on the Roselyn Coach leaving Cornwall's capital at 4.25am. Got a feeling for a draw, don't know why. Replay arrangements will be fun though eh? |
