We don't really know that he's not, at the moment it's all speculation. His woeful scoring rate at a lower level should give some indication. You mean like Ryan Brunt did. |

| Derek Adams will not bring in no hopers whatever you say.....he has done well with the last lot of what comments said "where no hopers"...give the man some credit.
ATD's New Years resolution....we must be more positive about new players that Adams brings in. |

| My point is that this pathetic signing because thats what it is just proves their is no ambition for Argyle other than year on year fourth division football also didn't Hallet, say that Argyle were now going to go through the Gear's ?? Where is all the money thats flowing into the club going? not on the team thats for sure..... Brent Out! |

| I don't think it is Adams who is the subject of the ire. He has done an excellent job, and obviously tries to employ a particular sort of player to fit in with his tactics. It's the fault of the unecessarily poor budget that results in Adams having to employ not the best in their field, shall we say. As said above, any team at the top of a division should be attracting young prospects or proven older performers who want to be at a club going somewhere. How else is Adams supposed to create a "club" ? He's in poundland, and that will result in yet another new squad next season. |

| Surely we need to be looking for an more experienced striker who can fit easily into the team's style of play. This guy may well turn out to be a decent player but if that's the sort of level at which Adams is being forced to look, then it speaks volumes for the lack of ambition at the club - as if we needed any more evidence.

| We have to balance the books...
We're struggling to survive on last seasons measly 'surplus'
Crap crowds
The pittance we got for Nelson at tribunal
TV money and an unwanted trip to Anfield which will require an overnight stay in a 2 star scouse hotel
All that plus the enormous staffing and maintenance bills needed to keep Home Park at the cutting edge of awesomeness and you start to get a picture of the terrible uphill struggle we face on a daily basis.
We're Plimuff Argo, we're doin our best. |

| We need to look for and sign players who can perform at league one level now in order to booth guarantee our promotion more so and give us a good foundation to which to build on in the summer ready for the new and more difficult challenges so we stay up next season. |

This isnt a great side im afraid, we maybe second but without proper investment in january i cant see it continuing. Also garita has a bad attitude which will cause more problems. |

| Be not afeared Pilgrims. We had ex England U20 International triallist at Tavi yesterday.
Ross Jenkins , you remember , scored on his debut at Morecombe in loan spell from Watford in 2012 before groin injury in next game. Career stalled with loan to Barnet, short spell at Crawley before going to Romania.
If this comes off and Wylde and four secured incomings rumours are true could be short window for interest. |

For Division 2 this side is adequate....averaging 2pts a game is promotion form....and this has been achieved with our fair share of injuries as well. Lets judge the January window when Derek Adams has finished strengthening his squad.....it's so easy to be downbeat before....it seems to be a way of life on here. |

Where were you the past two January transfer windows? And as said before this isn't about DA it's about brent's lack of support for DA |

Look I know you have a problem with objectivity and comprehension, so I'll ignore the normal abuse which you seem to have to resort to my friend, but it's all about opinions, I've got mine own, not asking anybody to agree or like it, just stating it and I can do it without all the name calling you seem to get your kicks with. Happy New Year old chap |

Some of you really are stuck with your head up your arse and you spew out the same old carp every time. When you changed jobs in the past did you arrive to a chorus of ''he must be rubbish''? I accept that signing from non-league is a gamble for any club and we have signed some players who are not good enough but equally we have signed some that have been quite successful. Also, how many of DA's signings have been poor? Before you say it ''eeeee saved us and I'm a twat''
lol is superfluous, Twat Do I take it you're now one of my friends? |

Not the sort of signing Argyle need in a "possible run-in" come the latter half of the season.
The news is mentioned over the road there.

I wonder how many over there will be cock-a-hoop regarding Mr Blisset ?. Here's the first of many..
"Yep and he was a real handful in the pre season friendly for us." Seen that post now.On Facebook there are some people absolutely crowing about this guy, With quotes of ''give him a chance'' and ''remember so and so''. Looks like the chap playing for Newport and on loan from Cardiff, will not be coming to Home Park in January then. I read rumours of ex-Argyle player, Conor H, may be released by Barnsley. Some on Facebook would have him back. |
