Promoted teams do not lose two on the bounce to dogshit teams like Grimsby and Barnet. It's painfully apparent we're not a promotion team Eight and a half thousand every week paying top money to watch Poundshop pro's scuffle about is shocking, Brent must surely go after another mid season meltdown and the inevitable collapse in the playoffs. Only Accrington and Morcombe have spent longer in the fourth division than Argyle. |

| The dimwitted janners get the players they deserve. The latest cohort of weak willed feeble minded pussies taking the baton on from last years failures.
Soon as they hear the throaty deisel engine of the Z registration (last rotation) Barnet FC team coach spluttering into the Theatre of Schemes car park they all collectively shit themselves, cowering in the corner of the 1950's dressing room. Bend over and assume position from the first whistle, concede early, 2nd before half time, no doubt a few more will fly in before full time to complete this pathetic surrender.
Disgraceful excuse for a football club, village to the core |

On JL's Facebook page, the ref is already being scapegoated for the fact that the team that's top of the league can't beat a team that (until tonight) had only won 4 games all season. Laughable. |

| PP's boy had it in a nutshell but there's a few other things of note.
Changes to the starting XI saw Donaldson replaced by Conor Smith, Thelkeld in for Purrington, Bulvitis back and Songo'o back into "midfield". Of those Smith was very good and I'd give him MotM: always tried to be positive, kept possession well, worked like a trojan. Top notch effort from him.
Nothing went our way though Songo'o was hacked down leading to their goal and was replaced by Garita (who did little of use) and it was musical chairs thoughout the line-up. We ended up with Carey at left back and Miller in central defence and Jervis (who was definitely denied a clear penalty) at right back.
To be honest we displayed little discernable shape in the second half so God knows who was meant to be where.
Their goalie made a stunning save. Real top drawer stuff. Astonishing.
We were never going to score.
God knows what Louis Rooney has to do to get a run out.
The ref was never going to give us anything.
Two home defeats in succession with 5 goals conceded and none scored. Bubble is burst.

He was right actually. Now i don't look on myself as a dim witted Janner [rightly or wrongly] and Argyle had only themselves to blame after conceding another horror goal from a set piece but the officials were utter shite and your son was correct in his view of those contentious incidents.Certainly seems as if the luck that was going Argyle's way in spades [and maybe covered up the true potential of the team] in earlier matches has turned but that wasn't the only factor.Looks as though the much vaunted bigger squad is proving to be not as good as was put forward by some-Goodwillie,Smith and Garita were by and large ineffectual tonight and need to improve considerably to make match winning contributions, although it is a chicken and egg scenario as far as fitness is concerned.A real and disturbing wake up call over the last 4 days-time will tell if this squad has it in them to recover or whether the January window, whatever it may entail, will be crucial in deciding Argyle's fate. |

Glad I'm not going he wasnt wrong was he? utter crap tonight we played as if the players never played with each other before, there was no cohesion at all and some players where very below par. Fans and del bhey may blame the ref but in truth we were shocking without his help. first goal the team just stood like statues and for the 2nd goal it was our fault for not playing to the whistle. We have the slowest defence and teams are exploiting this with pace and it rips us to shreds. We will continue to leak preventable goals until Dell BHey addresses our defence and signs one or two. Up front we were dire garrita isnt fit, jervis tried bless him but there was no one there to mae good on his work, goodwillie the lazy fat bastard should never play for this club again i cant put into words how feckin pathetic he is for a professional footballer who calls himself a striker. He fecked up so many passes, shots and even couldnt be arsed to run into space to have a shot at agoal. If January has any benefit for us we will get rid of him asap and sign 1 or 2 strikers that actually give a shit. midfield wasnt on par carey was quiet, fox was too McCormick needs the riot act read to him as he is making too many mistakes atm and costing us goals along with the defence. We have 2 other goalies its time he knew if he doesnt start upping his performance one of them is going to get his spot and another player will get his armband till he earns them back. overall shit night made worse by the club forcing the already pissed off fans to listen to a happy crappy Christmas tune at halftime sung live by some council choir... Alot of hardwork is needed on the training ground, a few players need the riot act read to them and the scouts need to up their game and start looking for defenders and strikers for january. |

| We won't strengthen in January. This dog shit 'team' is as good as it's going to get. Before the season started I made a prediction we'd finish around 18th. Nothings changed my mind. |

| The Brentherald this morning describes the ref as "the villain of the piece", says it all. Doesn't really explain why we have conceded five and not scored in two games. Onwards and upwards. |

Doesn't really explain why we have conceded five and not scored in two games. Onwards and upwards. And why did the players freeze waiting for the whistle that cost us a goal? i would ask that question myself. The Ref wasnt great at all but im not placing the blame on us losing on him at all. |

| Refs don't lose games, yes they make bad decisions, but it's how the players react to those bad decisions that win or lose games. |

If the ball ends up in the back of the net twice because of refs mistakes....then that is dabateable. |

Ive been saying that for a while..they should have put him in that period before they signed garita when we were struggling for goals. At that time the boy was chomping at the bit for start dont know what more he had to do to get a start Maybe adams just dont fancy him but anythink is better than goodwillie up front even my mother in law |

| It's fairly obvious the Goodwillie's contract would be worth considerably more than Rooney's.
Adams is merely following managerial tradition as dropping Goodwillie for Rooney would bring into question his footballing judgment. It would be an admission that he made a mistake and an expensive one at that.
Adams is no fool and with a saps like Pasoti and the Herald in place is unlikely to have to answer anything uncomfortable. |
