On it in Torquay today, the sun that is. Corbyn Head, Thatchers Rock ..LOL Acquired the excellent new camper, so watch out, I'm off the injury list. First stop West Penwith for a few days, then Padstow for the yearly homage to those strange North coast folk.

I've had a bay window Vdub in the past along with an autosleeper, and a couple of conversions. Avoid the cumbersome motorhomes. I've picked up an excellent rust free galvanised base vehicle, and am converting myself. I like the process of converting, it doesn't take long, and those old campers are just dreadful on fuel. My VW did about 17 to the gallon. I'll get 40+ with the newer model , provided I keep it light.

I prefer the self conversion as well, it's cheaper buying a ready converted but by the time you change it all to suit yourself the savings gone. I'm chopping in the T5 and thinking of going Peugeot Boxer or similar although I'm not sure about the rusting on them. Great shape for a camper. |

Bit small mate although they are loved by people that use them. Obviously as I'm in the T5 club I'm not allowed to speak to Bongonauters as T4 owners aren't allowed to evn acknowledge us fivers, cliquey as fook.

I went to Slapton this afternoon. Lots of grockles parking really badly, and it was extremely hot. I think I’ve got a touch of sunburn.
