Sat in the van on Tavvy golf course eating a lovely steak and ale pie I watched an old bloke take over forty shots on a hole of about 200yds, quite often he was ending further away than nearer the hole, went in the bunker and perfectly chipped out in one to land five yads from hole, he then over hit by about twenty yards. I haven't laughed so much since the woman dog trainer incident at Porthmeor.

For the first time ever I went for a sauna, they had a room with like loads of those car air fresheners in it (and steam) a salt steam room (I wouldn't have known it was salt if they hadn't have told me) and a Finnish dry room (which made my throat really dry). I ended up alternating between the salt room, cold shower and so on rinse repeat for an hour and a half then had a beer. I've never felt so clean.

Blimey, burnt the bean and pea hot pot, again. No problem, don a beard, carefully scrape to new saucepan, add water, saffron and smoked paprika, and all of a sudden ...... Cornish harissa, it's all the rage. Friary Mill nee Hills, Ivor Dewdney pepper factory, Pilgrim fraud, you're history.  [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
