In other news, the cat seems to be back to normal today, except he's still missing a collar. Keeps sneaking up on people, bless him.

Went to the post office this morning (shortly after 11.30 to be more precise) as I had to post a very important recorded delivery package. No queue.

Haven't been to the post office today, but the postie brought me two letters (and left the bleddy gate open again. Need to get a sign.) One of the letters had nice neat handwriting on the envelope, which is always good to see in this day and age. The stamp was about Ladybird children's books and had a pig on it.

The other letter wasn't for me. The cat (who's fine now, thanks) is currently sitting on it.

Had a packet of smoky bacon crisps yesterday (yes, they are suitable for vegetarians). Distinctly underwhelmed by the lack of flavour. Might hunt down a packet of Frazzles and see if they're as good as they used to be.
