Thinking of acquiring a new car

'The Dog House' is up and water tight. Just a few little bits and pieces to do and it is finished.

paper shop wasnt open, so i went to the other one.

If I had a pear tree, I would clear up the fruit which fell onto a public pavement.

Off to PlymBridge for a walk

Warmer than I thought. Sweating like a glass blowers arse after walking the wuffer.

Saw another parent up the school gates earlier for our first "return to school drop off after the summer holidays encounter" (as it's commonly known).

Me: "Good summer?"
Him: "Not bad. Over too soon. You?"
Me: Yeah pretty good. Still, back to it.
Him: Yeah. See you later.
Me: See ya

Been up to Newton Abbot

Just made a nice cup of tea.

Sent pension forms off to get the pot.

Just finished the first coat of wood preservative for the dog house.

Chagford hunt hounds just ran across my garden, FFS.

Off to the Hoe

Yesterday the nine year old got a medal, so I took her to Lisbon to celebrate (not the city, but the lovely little bakery / cafe in Frankfort Gate). She had several cakes. I was forced to eat a couple, too. We also did some other nice stuff.

Had to have a nap when I got home.

Beef and Stilton pasties at Fenworthy reservoir.

Just had brunch.

wore my new hat whist walking the dog just now.

Just had my evening meal. Roast beef and all the trimmings followed by apple and blackberry pie and cream.

Last week wife made apple and blackberry pie from own home grown apples and wild blackberry from Plym valley.

Tonight broke my glasses fame
