Strawberries are more invasive than knotweed. I will never, ever, ever, plant them in a garden of mine again and leave them to it.

Can't leave strawberries outdoors in winter the deer eat them, they leave the kale, purple sprouting and spinach beet but eat the strawberry plants right to the ground.

I don't get a lot of deer in my high walled town garden earwig, . But up in Central Park on the allotment, well, plenty of badgers, pheasants, foxes, drunks, thieves, homeless souls kipping, and even great whites on a high tide. Bleddy wild.
