| We can still save this match if Jimmy sacks Adams now and gives the job to Pep Pedlar. |

| Actually didn't feel confident about this one, mainly on the basis that we had to lose sometime. Anyway we have the January window yet, you know when all the teams around us strengthen their squads and we don't, then it all starts to unravel. |

| A one all draw with Hartlepool is a shit result! Apart from the "Jimmy Factor" Adams seems clueless when it comes to winning matches and entertaining the crowd at home matches. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. |

| For what it's worth, for their goal the ball was curling away and wouldn't have gone in without McCormick flicking it. |

| The whole team was off it today so I'll take the point.
Putting it all into context, fortunate goal for them, very fortunate penalty to us, passing poor, Carey's set play deliveries poor, Bulvitus playing another game, Songo was slow off the mark all first half, whole team appeared off it, I don't think there's any need to sack Derek though! |

Didn't think that was the case actually, i was right behind the flight and it looked in all the way-don't think he meant it either, be interesting to seethe replay. Anyway,my first visit this season. Argyle started as if they were going to cut Hartlepool to pieces but once they cottoned on to Argyle trying to build from the back and started to close down effectively, it became a different game. Argyle clearly lacked a focal point up front and it was disappointing that the Bristol City lad wasn't playing to give the extra option of knocking it long from time to time. Hartlepool were the more threatening team and created one or two good chances, especially when their bloke ballooned over after some good work from Lewis Alessandra-the only effort of note in return was a good free kick from Carey [an unusual occurrence today] turned over the bar by the keeper. Adams made a couple of changes at HT but the real difference was made when Spencer came on later in the game-he started to hold the ball up and was very unlucky not to score with a glancing header from a great cross from Purrington. Eventually it was Spencer who gave Argyle a lifeline after he was fouled in the penalty area and after a bit of discussion with Carey, it was Jervis who finished with ease. Argyle could have undeservedly won it when Spencer just couldn't stretch enough at the far post to finish accurately and they had a man sent off in injury time for kicking the ball away, second bookable. All in all a hard fought point which may look better as time goes by but the overall lack of chances created is a bit of a worry. |

| I was in line with it too. Looking from the corner flag area it deffo seemed like his flick helped it in. Not sure a camera replay from the main area mid-Grandstand will have the required angle to show it clearly mind.

| Looking at the league table I am properly bemused. I'm yet to see a decent full 90 minutes from Argyle this season. God knows how we are top when we have three strikers signed in the summer who collectively couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. |
