Come on Engerlund. With virtually the same 11 that stank the euros out Im Doubtful. At least he's stopped Rooneys delusions of grandeur but I suppose it will be another canter through qualification only to play like they've got hangovers come the main event. |

| It was the same old painful rubbish, Ingerland will piss the group then flop at the finals against some third rate no hopers! Buffelo Head out. |

100% On the Beeb it says ''Sam Allardyce says it is "not for me to say where to play Wayne Rooney" after his England reign started with a narrow World Cup qualifying win in Slovakia. SAM listen - you're in charge so yes you can tell him. (I didn't even watch it) |

| I'm strangely happy today. As I vowed after the Iceland game, 'never again'. And it was never again! My lad watched it (bless him) but I was working instead. Same again for the next match |

Seems not, apparently HE was left to decide where HE wanted to play So I saw. So we had the spectacle of Dier, Henderson and him getting in each other's way. What is Henderson actually for! 27 games in and yet to se him do anything interesting |

If Jordan Henderson holding down an England midfield slot is a fair barometer of where our standing is in world football, then we really are fooked. It's no coincidence he captained Liverpool to their joint lowest league position for over 50 years. |

| Buffalo head needs to be given time, these qualifiers and the tournament proper at least. There really is nowhere else to go, old, young, English, foreign, we've been down every avenue, the common denominator running through every team that I can remember has to be the ability(or lack of) of the players, they just ain't good enough, the quality of the players in the English national team falls well below the salaries they receive. Overpaid, self important, pampered, generally poorly educated, ever so slightly above average Joe's. |

| English football at an international level continues to bumble along with very little chance of even challenging in a tournament, whilst the premier League gets richer by the season.
Is that a coincidence? |

The faint hope I hold is that mourinho drops Rooney and His Jowliness sticks to what he said and doesn't play those that aren't playing for their clubs. Granted as you pointed out he said he was playing Rooney as a striker before allowing him to play where he wanted. |

Is that a coincidence? As much of a coincidence as Pisspotty supporting the reluctant one. |
