As if lol

no club will need to bid big to snap him up as we all know the club have the backbone of a blancmange... Plus if no bids come in it will be because they know he is out of contract in May and will wait to snap him up for cheap in jan or for free then.

Ah sh*t...there's a 99.9% chance the player's going whenever you read something like this.

200k (no add-ons of course) to Barnsley by Wednesday.

He's a better player than Connor was when he was here, but I'm sure a £200k offer would be enough to send Brent's lip quivering with excitement.

Contrast the selling strategy with Exeter City who actually develop their players after they leave the youth ranks, and loan them out to local semi pro sides.
They come back first team ready, and later secure substantial transfer fees for them... Matt Grimes £1.75m to Swansea, Tom Nicholl rumoured £750kplus to Peterborough.
I wonder how much they'll get for Ethan Ampadu?

What are Exeter spending that on? that's another story, they surely could have afforded to upgrade their shitty little ground by now

and not one penny of that money will ever see the light of day in the transfer budget
