| Apparently he couldn't play today because he doesn't have the necessary clearance.
After being with the club for several weeks, you would have thought that someone at the club would have thought about this and did whatever needed to be done.
Totally unprofessional of Starnes and his team.
Symptomatic of Brent's Argyle I'm afraid. |

| Is there anything about Plymouth Argyle Football Club that gives even the merest hint that it's being professionally run? |

| What a shambles. This, the state of Home Park, the unnecessarily huge overhaul of the squad because of an aversion to contracts of more than one year. I'd be fascinated to hear from some of those who defend Brent's Argyle and are seemingly quite optimistic about the short- and long-term future.
Since Brent arrived there's a cheapness, a complacency about the club. When people involved see that things are being done by volunteers and bucket-rattlers rather than by professionals, it leads to an overall lack of pride and lack of care from people doing their jobs. People are right to be worried about the club's prospects, it doesn't look good.
Still, why should the club care as long as thousands of people are paying ready cash to see this shambles? Brent must be laughing and laughing and laughing... |

| From having family who have previously worked at the club this sort of problem normally is the job of the club secretary so what the feck is he doing other than marching around the ground in his very new shinny suit. Instead of waisting time meeting with your mates do what your paid to do. |

Don't forget the current club secretary didn't get the job because of his experience and knowledge of football administration. He got it for being one of the chairman's arse-lickers in chief. |

| thats the sad fact of modern pafc you get a job by who you know that sounds familar but not what you know. He needs to learn and learn very quick.
I could do a better job than him as could most on this place, |

| Apparently Bulvitis is now cleared to play. I expect some people will hold this up as an example of the club's excellent troubleshooting! Maybe someone will tell us that Brent personally went round the relevant authorities with the forms, taking time out of his "busy" schedule!
Seriously though, will anyone be held to account for this monumental cock up? |

| Perhaps there should be a plaque outside the home park portakabin recognising ian de-liars amazing contribution in getting this resolved. Tho his email story certainly horseshit to make out its his former latvian clubs fault and not an argyle clerical error |
