Hello! Very touched by all your comments on here, thank you. Will read them out to Dad later on today. He is improving and they are working on getting him 'clinically fit' for discharge sometime next week. HOWEVER, he will be unable to walk again, so he will remain in hospital until his flat is adapted or alternative care/home is found.

Currently he is in bed J1 on Mayflower Ward, Derriford and his a bedside phone number is
070 0322 7125. I believe it is expensive to ring it though and you have to listen to a 1 minute message before they connect you [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

. They are talking about moving him to Mount Gould for physio & OT rehabilitation work, learning to use a wheelchair and transfer etc. At the moment, he is concentrating on working out where he can put the laptop so he can use it Rolling Eyes
