Is anyone able to try and contact the old fella to see how he is? He obviously wasn't well judging from his last post and an extended period without any word is a tad concerning given his usual prolific posting habit.

Person of Interest lives in Whitleigh as does Pete, he offered to help out I believe if he could but I'm not sure if he knows where he lives. Does anybody know Petes surname? If they did and could pm me rather than posting it here I am happy to ask Derriford for any news.

Found him! In Derriford, the nurse said that they may release him in the next couple of days. I have sent him a message via the nurse and was told that visiting times were between 2.30 and 8.00pm so I will phone later and have a chat and wish him well. Anybody else wants to see him or get in touch and I will pass on the number and ward ect.

Good work Iggs. I am going to call him later. I'll get his address so I can go up and bleddy see if he's ok next time. As it happens, I'm only a 5 minute walk away for the old goat.

I have just spoke to Pete, who's still in Derriford. Sadly, Pete has suffered a heart attack.

He has been in Derriford for a few days, but assures me he's on the mend and should be released in a few days.

Pete thanked me for the call and asked me to pass on his gratitude for the concerns and all of the get well messages on ATD.

I wished him well and assured him that I speak for all of ATD.

I did feel awful at one point because the nurse said he's not available to speak, But would you like me get him out of bed and come to the phone if I can. 'Yes if you could', I said without thinking!! FFS - he's just had a heart attack, and I'm dragging him out of his bed!! Sorry Pete! Embarassed
